I got the Tarfuto, and wouldn't change a thing about it MID - Pricing is slightly high at about 15 to 16 EUR. The ingredient quality is good though. And the margarita was probably about 10 EUR. - I was able to eat the whole thing myself, though I probably pushed myself at the end. You could in theory share this with someone. - If you intend on dining in the restaurant, make a reservation, as there are probably only 3-4 small tables. Otherwise, take-out is fine! CON - The wait time was definitely a surprise to me when quoted - maybe 40 minutes from when I ordered. In reality, the wait time was even longer

I am a pizza lover through and through, and I think this place is a must-visit for thin crust pizzas. The prices are also very reasonable, considering the quality and taste of the pizza. Probably the best pizza you'd find in Bordeaux. I live 2 blocks from here, and so I see a line waiting outside almost all the time. The place is very small. I think there are only 3-4 tables, so it can't accommodate too many people at all. Many of the customers order and pick up their pizzas later. Depending on the time, if you're early, you can get your pizzas ready in 10 minutes, but if you come during the busy period at 8pm and later, expect to wait for 30 minutes or more. If so, the area is right by the river and has great places to stroll and see, so time will go by fast while waiting. My personal recommendation is the Bosciola. For a small place, they have a whole wall of Italian wine. Never tried, but I think they have a big selection for such a small place. Bon appetit!

After spending a week in French wine country, we were craving a hearty meal (instead of our usual…read morebread, oysters, and cheese feast). We wandered by West Coast, and saw that it was packed with a bunch of local twentysomethings. It was loud and bustling, so we decided to grab a bite. The tables are super crammed together, as they are in most restaurants in France. It's weird for Americans, so prepare to get cozy with others. This is definitely a local place. The decor is simple but fun, it reminded me of a casual beach shack at a Southern California beach. There's a surfing theme, which was a nice little reminder of home. The menu features gourmet cheeseburgers and fries. They're "French-ified," which is so cool! No boring ingredients, only the finest chef-driven and inspired burgers. My burger, for example, had fresh pesto and brie cheese. The beef was extremely high quality and perfectly prepared, and the bun tasted freshly baked. The fries were fantastic, those double-battered and double-fried true "French fries." The prices are a little high, and the dining room crowded, but this is a fantastic place to get a tasty cheeseburger if you're fatigued of traditional French cuisine.

So while on holidays in Bordeaux and searching through quite a few reviews we decided to have one of our evening meals here. We were not disappointed the feel of the restaurant is very casual think diner. The service was friendly. The Burger well it was one of the best i had outside of London, great bun to meat ratio i took the plain beefburger while the other half indulged in a cheeseburger with the option to choose from the list of french cheeses avalible. The fries were crispy and home-made non of that freezer stuff here. Needless to say this is a must visit place if you happen to find yourself in Bordeaux.

I'm writing this review in English rather than French because I feel that it will be more relevant…read moreto non-French speakers. I visited Point Rouge tonight with three friends: two of us were British and two were American. The food and wine were both delicious, beautiful, and beyond reproach. However, the service failed to meet the standards the kitchen had established. Although the restaurant was far from full on a Monday night, we consistently waited much longer than every other table for every course, every glass of water, and every drop of wine. Determined to enjoy ourselves anyway, we watched several tables order crêpes Suzette, which were prepared tableside with great pageantry (several diners videoed the preduction), so we ordered them, too. But we were the only table who had our crêpes delivered cold without the tableside drama. I took one frosty bite and retired my fork, and when the waiter asked if there was something wrong with my crêpes, I told him I was disappointed not to have had them prepared tableside. He laughed and took my plate away. We were all charged full price anyway, and I might just mention here that the bill for four of us totaled €288. I am very sorry not to be able to recommend a restaurant with such wonderful food, but of course inferior service can destroy any meal. I cannot prove that the service we received was related that we weren't French, but by the time we left, it certainly felt that way. I might also mention that the toilets are quite...unusual. The doors are clear glass until you enter and lock the door, when they become opaque. However, there is no sign or other indicator that this will happen, so it looks for all the world as though you will be using the toilet in full view of everyone who walks by. I found this to be a very odd, almost cruel, décor decision.

The restaurant was hip, trendy, and had a gorgeous bar. It was probably the largest cocktail menu I have ever seen. I think there were close to 200 drinks and they were delicious. W
