They've got an outstanding selection of handcrafted salts and peppercorns. They carry other seasonings as well. In fact, a few years ago I bought a lava salt in Iceland (perfect for pork) that was phenomenal! Hadn't been able to find anything close to it. That is until Texas Salt Co. While it's not made in Iceland or of lava, the flavor of the salt they found for me matches in flavor pretty closely. They also carry Texas Beer Bread mixes that are to die for! Expert and meticulous service from staff which makes it easy to say why they're on the list of stores we frequently shop at in New Braunfels.

Great spot to stroll through and perhaps pick up some homemade stuff, jewelry, handbags, etc. Tons of different vendors selling their goods. I'm sure they have something for everyone. As for me, I actually didn't buy anything. I was very selective in my purchases that day for some reason. I spent no more than 30 minutes walking through it. Please note this is not exactly a farmers market... I don't recall seeing any fresh fruits and vegetables or maybe there were some and I just didn't notice. Most of the vendors were selling non-food items. Do check for the days they are open. If you're looking for specialty items, this may be the spot for you! Happy Market Days!

Service: The shop owner was very friendly and allowed me to roam around, take a video, and check out her shop. She answered all my questions. She mentioned they offer a potting bar. You can buy a plant and they offer the service of potting in house. She even mentioned that you can bring in a plant that you have questions about or are having trouble with and she'll give you some tips. Selection: The selection can vary from common plants to the less common ones . What I liked most about the shop is that she had items from local vendors which as plant decorations, paintings/pictures, and hand pressed flower greeting cards. Value: The plants are a little on the expensive side compared to other plant shops but i contribute it to the potting bar as part of your experience and the locally sourced items. Recommend Potting Culture shop as a way to share in the experience of planting your own plant with friends.

WELLLLL!!! let me tell you "YOU AIN'T TASTED NOTHIN LIKE THE TOMATOES FROM UNCERTAIN FARMS". Apparently, they're grown on a hydroponic farm in West Texas, they are HUGE, juicy, and flavorful. I eat them all by themselves. I haven't tried his home canning YET but certainly plan to. When I've gone by there is always SOMEONE raving about his canned goods (especially his candied jalepanos - but I'm a whimp when it come to hot stuff). You'll have to get on his website to find out where he's at because he travels from place to place. I found him at the Helotes Market Days (1st Sat of every month) and at The Legacy on Sundays. It's certainly worth tracking him down. When you see him ask about getting an entry form to win an iPad. He's part of the co-op Revive America Today and they are giving some lucky customer an iPad to be given away at the Helotes Market Days in February 5th.
