What I really appreciated was that everything was discussed beforehand, all the package details, the rules, what to expect on the day. Nothing was left unclear, so by the time the party started there was zero confusion. It made the whole experience so much smoother. The kids had an absolute blast, the staff was warm and accommodating, and the facility is clean and just a really fun space to be in. Fun play world is a rare space where kids have fun, while parents can relax! Our visit was great, first thing I noticed is how clean it is, how wells the zones are organized. I was able to keep an eye on my 3 year old, while she was exploring around. I was amazed that my older boys 9 and 11 were entertained as well. They turned into little kids and played. I attended this playground for a friend's child's birthday, and unfortunately the experience was very disappointing. We arrived about 7 minutes early and were asked to wait outside because they said entering early would add extra charges to the host's bill. We waited at the door so our friend wouldn't be charged unnecessarily. When the time finally reached 5:00 PM and we tried to enter, the staff member stopped me, a guest, and told me to "make sure the host knows" that the price is $35 per child and $15 per adult. This was inappropriate and very uncomfortable. It's not a guest's responsibility to confirm pricing with the host, and putting me in that position felt unprofessional and disrespectful. Overall, the atmosphere felt unwelcoming, overly strict, and money-driven. A children's birthday party should feel warm and friendly, not stressful. I would not recommend this place for hosting or attending events. After this experience, I would personally prefer not to attend any future parties at this location, even if invited. read more

Here's an honest accurate review: I usually don't usually write positive reviews but this place deserves a higher rating than this so here I am. Initially, I felt a bit duped seeing the pictures on Google and Yelp. I should've known when there were only pictures of one play spot in the facility and that's the ballpit/slide. I saw the picture and assumed it was large like Kids Empire (my fault for assuming). When I got to the front and saw the outside of the bldg, I was slightly disappointed. It looked small and very dirty. I was already here so I decided to try it out. I didn't know where to park. I luckily found street parking. Street parking is $1 per hr. My 5 yr old and I walked in and yes it was small but it was long. Also the facility was really nice, clean, and quaint. There's not many kids and it's clean and organized. The front desk girl gets up every 30mins-1hr and checks on everything. You can bring your own food and eat here (I think. I saw a lady who had 2 bento boxes with her so I'm assuming this part). They have a coffee center and it's clean and it's KEURIG and it's FREE. I can't believe that one reviewer got upset over free coffee. Whether the machine worked or not. We visited Fun Play World this afternoon because we wanted to get a tour for my son's 5th birthday. Unfortunately, the person in charge was extremely rude to me and my family. We were just asking for information to plan a special day for our little boy, but instead of being welcoming, she treated us with disrespect. Very disappointing experience, especially when we came in excited to celebrate such an important milestone. For a place that is supposed to be family-friendly and focused on children, this was really unexpected. We truly just wanted to see the space for our son, but the lack of kindness and professionalism left us with a very negative impression. read more

I wouldn't say this place is anything special. It kept the kids entertained for a few hours. But both locations suffer from the same problem of just having one big climber/ball pit...and not much else. After a few visits, the kids are bored of it already. And if you bring your big kids to climb, but also have little ones, there isn't much for them to do. Adding a section that had something for toddlers would be nice. Overall, not really worth the price. We have been to indoor playgrounds that were in a smaller space, but packed with things to do, and cost less too. The girl at the desk was super sweet. Free coffee. Some metered parking in front. Everyone must wear socks. Side-note: It might be fixed now, but there are some tubes on the wall that they can put balls in and the air blows them thru tubes, it only half of it worked. We had a terrible experience. There were way too many children of all ages bumping into each other, with adults either standing around and blocking children or trying to help their little kids. It was way over capacity and they kept letting families into the place. It was not only chaotic, we thought it was as extremely dangerous. No personnel to help. I would give them a minus rating if it was available. My daughter, son-in-law and grandchildren have lost their home, school, afternoon activity locations in the Pacific Palisades fire. The only wish my Granddaughter turning 5 years old has, is to celebrate her birthday with friends. They are all displaced from each other. This was an idea to celebrate her birthday, but now to get the children and families (friends) together from the area during this terrible time. My daughter received a quote before the fire for 40 kids for 2 hours only at about $2300. Can you even imagine that!! Yes, not a prime 12 pm request time and not a Saturday. My daughter was working on finalizing the birthday and then the fire changed everyone's lives in Pacific Palisades, as in Malibu and Altadena. She called after they learned they had lost everything and Diana, the Manager stated that the cost was now $2,800. Unbelievable!!! My daughter was so distraught that I took over for her. I called Diana and she asked me if we wanted her to pay for the birthday party even though we offered $2,000. She said she had offered a 5:30 PM slot for $2,000 for a birthday party for a 5 year old. I told her that I could not believe that she would offer that considering the children were around 5 years old. She was extremely rude, lacked sympathy and was completely uncaring and unprofessional. I asked her to please have the owner contact me and she refused. Companies who have children as their main client, should be extra kind and have a bigger mission to create positive memories for children, especially during such life changing memories for these precious children. We took our great nephews for an afternoon at Fun Play world today, 9/7 and they had a fabulous time. Perfect play experience for ages 2-7 in my mind. The staff did a great job keeping the area cleared of dangerous kid-made messes and normal scattered play materials. They handled check in, our prepaid birthday gift for the boys, and explained the waiver process professionally. Both (I may be wrong on their names) Mira and Dia did a great job managing the play experience with a busy Saturday crowd of 25-30 kids. Much to my dismay, a dissatisfied customer (gentleman in his 40s) sarcastically raged at the very young (late teens/early 20s) staff for not managing a couple of apparent issues between kids. (The responsibility of the parents involved in my opinion). Unable to address the concern because it had already been resolved, one of the team members was crushed and began to become emotional/cry after the man dumped on them and left. I assured them that despite whatever may have happened, they were doing the best they could and the vast majority of customers had a wonderful and safe time. If you're reading this, keep your head up; can't make everyone happy. Overall, while Fun Play World is a bit on the pricey side, it's one of few indoor child friendly obstacles course/play experiences on this slice of the Westside. I can recommend it for the above listed ages and for under 60 (40 for a single kid) bucks, you can have a great time for a couple hours. Bring your own grippy socks to save a few bucks! read more

My daughter and I got really sick here with a stomach bug/flu, not surprise because when I was there I saw a lady rudely enter from the back with her dirty stroller. Her kids entered with shoes and then were barefoot in the back. She refused to go around to the front door and instead pushed her dirty stroller wheels all over the floor of the kids area where no shoes are allowed. I never saw the worker clean that area afterwards or while I was there. And it was packed! Not once I saw someone sanitize anything and the kitchen toys were all over different areas upstairs by the slide and on the floor. It's a shame because the playground itself is really nice. Staff should be more strict and not open the back door to entitled people that will refuse to go around like everyone else and let their kids (and adult moms) be barefoot with no socks. I saw multiple moms that were barefoot. And in the playpit a little kid threw up and the worker just put paper towels not sanitized. Worker is mostly on their phone and not alert. We went my wife and I with our kids to this place on a Sunday mid-afternoon. The crowd was moderately large. It's kept very clean. It looks modern and well organized in sections. It has a lounge for mostly the parents where you can enjoy free-wifi and complimentary coffee. For those who wonder, there is no arcades. In my opinion, the playing is more oriented kids under 12. Air conditioning that day was barely offsetting the weather conditions (summer day). My kids were getting sweaty after sometime playing. Square footage of the play area, compared to Calabasas's Kid World, is maybe 3 to 4 times smaller (but hey we are in Century City so rent/sf is much higher) so kids may not spend hours and hours playing there. You have to have your kids use special grip-socks, to either buy on site or bring (if you got some from another kid's play place). Fee per kid decreases by the number of child (5$ less by additional child, till before 4th child). Everyone will judge themselves if that whole place deal is worth the money. read more
