You expect the gear to be in good condition and the experience to be pleasant. That would make for a 4 star experience in my book. But, Doug went above and beyond the call of duty. From helping me pick exactly what I needed and nothing I didn't, to communicating with my insurance company to make sure they had all the information I needed in the right place so that I would be properly covered should something go wrong. I called the man at the last minute "You got a slider?" the answer was "Yup" and it was promptly picked up. My delivery guys dropped the ball so Doug brought the gear to my shooting location which was luckily not too far from his office but still, way above and beyond what I expect a gear rental business to do. The best way I can describe it is pride of work. I will ALWAYS rent from Pro Gear Orlando! While on a collabrative conference call, we(the three of us) called this company(1-888-613-3335) to see if they are proprietary to The Baltimore Convention Center to determine in what direction we were going to go in next should this company (that stated they frequent the B-More convention center very regularly on their website) Didnt even make it that far. after asking that initial question this man, was extremely rude and abrasive. Heard me ask my question and completely ignored it and repeated his same "what are you looking for/what do you need question). I then paused and was silent for whihc he spoke up again and clearly irritated, asked me a third time the same line of questioning. I then told him and what ended up being my being cut off mid sentence, i was told to direct any and all questions to the email address in the top left corner. I thanked him and he promptly hung up. The three of us spent the next 5 minutes distracted and in shock discussing peoples attitude in the world. A 13 or 16 year old would be agreeable to carry on this way but not an adult man with the same juvenile behaviour. You guys JUST lost our money as we were recommended to you. respect and anything to do with your establishment whatsoever. Whoever he was? represented nothing but lost opportunity and a lost business relationship due to your companies horrible choice in employees. Awesome opportunity that we dodged bullet like Neo in the Matrix and possibly the same shitty service we got with one phone call. You need to fire that man, sue him for lost opportunity before a judge, order him to take a 48hr anger management course, as well as serve a 4 month community service requirement picking up garbage along the highway.
