Don't rent from this business. Sneaky, rude and unprofessional. Rented a pontoon and jet ski for the day for $1,500. Battery on the boat died and would not start with 3 hours remaining for both rentals. No apology for the inconvenience. No let's work out something for the 3 hours lost. Phil was having a bad day also was rude and had a bad attitude. He doesn't know how to handle business when all your machines are breaking down. As a business owner you don't treat return customers this way. Blamed us for a battery and charged me $1,500 on top of the rental for damage fees. We found out MORE since original post. The Signeage below about DANGEROUS Cyanobacteria WAS NOT POSTED at the Marina . The next day we found it was down Lake .This Woman in Charge was there running the place with her grown children. She KNEW we did not know about the Cyanobacteria Green Algae Danger. She attempted to steer us away from areas with signs when we asked!? This behavior is PURE EVIL. She is a Mother that let me and my family , my Child, get in this water! French Gulch Marina tested tier 1 for this Cyanobacteria. She has ZERO signs up. Colin KNEW TOO! This is EVIL. One of the symptoms of this algae is PARALYSIS, can have mild to life threatening effects . Look it up. BEWARE... Be wary when Algae gone too! Price different than the sign. Something off when we walked in, we should've heeded our guts. Rented 4 Jet skis. Long lecture about not getting sand in motor /prop so we stayed at least 100 feet away from any shore, so we were careful to avoid debris. We got a text a couple hours after renting saying they were charging our card $1250 until 1 of the skis checked further. Said one of the"wear rings" was a problem. They are $22 rings to protect the prop and for normal wear? We called Colin admitted the skis were not checked between customers. We told him we never got near the shore so that was impossible. He said "maybe fishing line got in there". We told him none of the skis ever sputtered. Also Colin had told us pre-ride safety that they had locators on them. I said check the locators, they will show we were not near the shore. We asked for the owner (he said it was Phil) to call us. Next day , he still has not called. This feels like a big scam. My husband and I 62 and 64 were around boats our whole life. This did not happen the way they said. My son in law has worked as a form of mechanic. He looked up the wear ring part and says this is a scam. I WOULD ADVISE NOT TO RUIN YOUR VACATION or Your HEALTH WITH THEM. evil read more

I was wanting to rent a jet ski and this place had great reviews, I had to give them a shot. I rented through their website and they contacted via text the day before to confirm the details. Honestly this was one of the best and easy experiences we've had when renting a jet ski. I forgot who it was that worked with us but he was super informative and he delivered as well. We rented two hours and that was enough time for me and my husband to enjoy the ride. If ever in town again, this will be my go to place. read more

My boyfriend and I are in town visiting family and decided to look into jet ski rentals. We realized this business didn't have any Yelp reviews so we visited their website and they seemed to have new equipment and decent pricing so we called to get pricing and info! Unlike the local competition, they do not require a $400 cash deposit AND he offered us a local discount of 20% off. I had a great conversation with Phil who let me know he had availability and can meet me at a local campsite that has a loading ramp in as short as an hour. We set up a time to meet at 2pm today (Monday) When Phil and Wayne showed up they were super informative. Phil went over all the directions and was set up to take the payment and deposit via card. When we were finished we text them and they came within minutes and gave our CC deposit back quickly. We had the best time! Texting made it very easy to schedule & I had numerous questions that he was quick to answer. He gave great suggestions about the best time & locations to take them out based on the wind at Lake Isabella. Once we figured out what we wanted to do, he was able to create an invoice that we could pay online & get a receipt immediately. The jet skis were new, fast, & so much fun. Take advantage of all the water we have this year! Lake Isabella is gorgeous right now, and what better way to experience it than hoping on a Sea-Doo and exploring the lake while on the water. The owner of the company, Phillip, was great! You can tell he cares about his customer's happiness. The Sea-Doo are well taken care of and look brand new! The owners are wonderful to work with and we had a great experience. They were flexible when our schedule changed and accommodated us. The skis look brand new! They were fast and so much fun! This company is fantastic, it's so nice to have a water crafts rental place up and running in the kern valley. The staff were great to deal with they dropped the jet skis off for us at the lake.
