We decided to look for a gym and were excited when we found this place on Trip Advisor. It's the only gym in Positano. We quickly got dressed and ran down to the beach where this "gym" was located. The gym is tucked away in a tiny corner, and is only about 15 sq ft of space with some old, sun beaten equipment. The guy working there told us it was €20 for a workout.. so pretty much about $25.. the same price as a monthly gym pass or a nice seafood dinner. Uh, no grazie. How do you say "overpriced" in Italian? We walked off and found some stairs to run overlooking the water and decided to create our own workout! We worked up a good sweat while enjoying the amazing water views, and the best part, IT WAS FREE!

They are very clear with instruction (even in english). They also are great athletes themselves. All equipment you might needs is provided and programming includes strength and endurance. Lastly, the community here is amazing. You can tell people enjoy coming into the gym and their greeted every time!

Apart from the fact, that everything is "fake" (trainer via video, brigg-wallpaper, ...) it´s a nice athmosphere!! In case you don´t need an exhaustive wellness area, the Mc Fit is a good choise! 20€ p.month anly!!! Other members are friendly. During peak hours it´s more than crowded, but you will find easily one threatmill for you. I will come back again.

Condescending and sexist employee…read more We (two young woman) arrived at the gym today hoping to buy a day pass, after having consulted with an employe the day before regarding rules. In accordance to said rules we brought correct gym wear and our IDs. But as soon as we stepped into the gym we were met with a very condescending employee maning the till, who immediately looked irritated and asked us questions regarding our age and if we had ID. Though we met these requirements he informed us that we didn't have a towel and would have to buy two for 8€ each. We complied but he still seemed dissatisfied as we stepped in. As our full attire became visible he exasperatedly regarded our flipflops (that we were planning on changing out of) and exclaimed that they "were absolutely NOT acceptable to wear here". Though we could have argued on, we simply couldn't take the scrutiny and left immediately. The rules themselves were not problematic, but the tone, as well as the fact that we were the only two women in the gym, and that multiple men were training without towels, made so that the experience became extremely uncomfortable.

The experience was nearly perfect. 4 stars only because it was so crowded and there was not a wide selection or quantity of cardio machines. Otherwise, friendly, central, well-priced, and gets the job done!
