I actually drive 2 1/2 hours to see him because the main orthodontics practice in our small town wasn't willing to work on my problem. When I first met with Dr Caldwell and explained my needs and desires regarding my teeth, he didn't blink an eye and just got busy on making a treatment plan for me. He recently went above the initial plan in order to give me the perfect cosmetic result! He is a joy to work with... funny and kind and professional. One of our local friends was a peer to Dr Caldwell in dental school and told me he was the smartest guy there! I don't doubt it. So very grateful for all he is doing to give me the smile I have hoped for. A big plus is the wonderful staff he also has working with him.

I used to love the feeling of eating only jello or pate for three days while my teeth adjust to the 5000degree turn the orthodontist seemed "necessary" and "efficient". I walked into Davis and heard people laughing?!?! Where are the pleas of mercy? Where are the whips and chains and lashing of teeth? Where are the persistent screams of the ortho ordering the subject to "open wider"? So disappointed in this place... What's the point of getting corrective dental surgery if it doesn't hurt? This is like touch football, except touching is deemed "too aggressive". I guess kids are so coddled today that their names are placed on a chalkboard welcoming them to the establishment. My ortho called me Jerry and had the teeth chart of Melissa while peering into my oral cavity. They provide iPads for entertainment and TVs as well. My entertainment was the torturous screams and yells of wimpy kids. It was always fun trying to time Guns N Roses "Mr Brownstone" with the screams of Sally and Jeff. Hey Jeff, a little faster! Kids these days are so entitled they require a cooler of Dipping Dots and a refrigerator filled with water and soda. Parents have accessibility to a Keurig machine for coffee and tea. My parents drank dirty well water and I had a tall glass of shut-the-hell-up. If you are looking for a classy place with awesome people and amenities that would make Elon Musk jealous, then by all means, come see Dr Buddy. If you long for the days of kids bleeding on the floor while flaps of gums and shards of steel are hanging out, and the X-ray machine consisted of shoving a softball in your mouth while emulating a perfect smile, you better go somewhere else.
