He never pushes you to come more than needed and always teaches you workouts to do at home to strengthen muscles and joints. My whole family goes to him. We once had to drive all the way from Minneapolis because no one would take my little brother when he was 8, he had a really rough neck injury from a trampoline. We came in and Dr. Walton was the one who fixed it in no time. Trust him more than anyone.

In town on business, an acute neck and upper shoulder injury, flared up suddenly, essentially disabling me with pain and highly restricted range of motion. Thanks to a friend's referral, Dr. Paape eliminated the pain and restored my range to pre-injury conditions in just a few visits. The entire staff is great, and the integrated regimen of chiropractic adjustment, physical therapy and acupuncture, directed by a well-trained team of professionals provides virtual 'one stop shopping'. Gotta admit, a long-standing prejudice against alternative therapies made me a skeptic, but this 'pain in the neck' experience (literally and figuratively) has turned me around 180 degrees. Different strokes for different folks, indeed, but for otherwise intractable problems (and probably for problems with a clear musculoskeletal basis in general), chiro is where I'll be heading. And when in Fargo, Healing Arts Chiropractic is where I'll be.

Dr. Matt Gilbertson is the best chiropractor I have ever had and I have seen many. I met with him…read morebecause I was seeing a budget friendly chiropractor who often took off for a week or so without providing a substitute chiropractor like some chiropractic businesses will do. I filled out Dr. Matt's forms and he could tell that I was barely making a living in self-employment. He charged me the regular rate and waved the first visit fee since I was making an effort with regular visits with another chiropractor. Although he cost more than the other chiropractor, his results actually saved me a lot of money. I did not need an adjustment for months. He uses the best equipment in the business. I walked to his adjustment table and the table moved me without my having to strain. He then used electric stimulation to make certain my muscles were in a perfect state for manipulation. I was provided instructions to not exercise immediately after the adjustment and given Biofreeze. My back had not felt that good in years. I would have seen him again when my back slowly regressed but I had left the area and I have yet to find another chiropractor with his magic touch since. I wish I could have taken his office and his professional assistance with me. He is highly compassionate and an excellent healer.

TL;DR Dr. Kemper is phenomenal especially for athletes and those that lift!…read more Tom is a very skilled and straight-forward chiro. As a lifter I appreciate the fact that he works with many athletes and knows the common issues associated with different lifts/movements. I first went to him when I started doing back squats 3x a week and had soreness in my shoulder. He could see just by first glance and hearing me say that I recently started squatting more often what his issue was going to be. Tom's approach to the practice seems to be: get you fixed and get you out of his office. He doesn't want you coming back 3x for the same issue (unless it's necessary I suppose.) I've gone in a few times now and he is always quick to alleviate the issue and correct the root cause of it. He has also helped me with some poor posture and sleeping habits that had me looking like a slouch. If you are an athlete or just someone who wants to get in quickly and get on with your life then you have to go see Dr. Thomas Kemper!
