She sets such an amazing and positive tone for the whole studio and every teacher there does the same it trickles down to the parents and students too and just makes for a really great environment. My girls would be at Flatirons seven days a week if they could! They started off with classes and this last year did competitive and both have been so much fun and they've grown so much in dance and as people! I am so thankful we found this studio - we love Flatirons Dance!

My husband and I moved to Denver a year and a half ago from DC, where we were very active in the…read moreswing dance community. We tried a few lesson programs here (we're not great and definitely need instruction!) and ultimately, we really struggled to find a great environment to learn to dance in Denver. But just recently, we found Swingin' Denver! We dropped in for an advanced Lindy Hop lesson last night and loooved it! The instructors are really good dancers and the lessons are challenging - which is much needed for us since we've had a year and a half break from any instruction/social dances/practice whatsoever. The instructors are friendly and dedicated to creating a friendly, inclusive, active swing dance community in the Denver area. They appear to plan several social dances (some with DJs but some with live bands - which are the best kind of social dances). At the conclusion of each class, the instructors videotape the moves and post them on Youtube, which is great since my husband and I love to practice. I'm really excited to attend future classes - maybe I'll even check out a Balboa class. If you're looking for Lindy Hop instructors, I highly recommend Swingin' Denver!

We are so grateful to Sherry for being the most incredible dance instructor! She not only managed…read moreto teach two engineers how to dance (so trust us, she can teach anyone!) but did so with such kindness, patience, and grace. We were initially skeptical about learning remotely, but it ended up being the best possible way for us to learn! Sherry made the virtual experience so convenient, flexible, and surprisingly fun. Her ability to break things down and guide us step by step was just as effective as being in the same room--and it allowed us to practice comfortably at home on our own schedule. Sherry is an absolute gem--a beautiful soul who is so passionate about what she does, and it shines through in every lesson. She turned something we were nervous about into one of the highlights of our wedding preparation. Working with Sherry was such a joy, and we couldn't have asked for a better guide to help us prepare for our first dance. If you're looking for someone to help you feel confident, have fun, and create something truly special, Sherry is your person. We can't recommend her enough!

Sherry was absolutely amazing! We decided we wanted a wedding dance only a month before our date…read moreand Sherry was incredibly accommodating. She took 15-20 minutes to explain the typical process on the phone to me and then we scheduled our first lesson. My wife and I were immediately put at ease by her friendliness and eagerness to help. We promptly booked 10 hours with Sherry. She took the time to walk through her openings with us so that we could fit all the lessons in before our wedding. She put together a wonderful choreographed routine to our song that made us feel special but was still easy enough to learn. Neither of us had partner dance experience before this so we started off very basic and worked up to fancier moves as we got more comfortable. Sherry was always very encouraging while providing clear and useful feedback. If we weren't understanding something, she would take the time to demonstrate again or explain it in a different way. She excels in being very specific with her critiques so that we knew exactly what we needed to practice and keep in mind. The dance lessons were such a fun experience for us amidst all of the other chaos of the month before our destination wedding. We absolutely LOVED Sherry and plan to return for more lessons in the near future. We can not recommend her highly enough!

I've been taking hip hop classes for a while and enjoy the instructors. They have a wide variety of scheduled classes of different styles and different difficulty levels. Sirena and Cici, who co-own this studio are also both awesome as well. They do have merch and different class packages for purchase. For example, you can have unlimited classes for $200 a month, or purchase a 10 class pass for like $150, just to name a couple options. Single drop-in classes are $20. If it's your first class for this studio, you can get a 1st class special for $15. I would recommend reviewing the class schedule first and then scheduling your class online first. When you get into the studio, they'll have you check in at the door. If you've already scheduled your class prior to arrival, it'll make the check-in process easier

Eric make it interesting and despite my basic ineptitude, was able to make us feel comfortable and impart great knowledge of the steps and structure to create great to functional dancers from the masses. We had been to other classes but Eric has a patient and inclusive style that allows you to learn without shame and progress through levels I II and on to proficiency.
