They actually wanted me to eat they wrong plate. Eventually they did give me my money back- all they had to do was add steak to the wrong plate and it would have been correct. I WILL NEVER WASTE MY TIME there again. Very POOR customer service. After paying 53.00 for dinner you would think they would want to fix an issue that was so minor. Spent my last there. Thank goodness we have Chiba and soon Mama Mon's. The money they refunded was only for the incorrect plate. My boyfriend who was with me didn't want to eat his in front of me so his got cold. As for the sushi, something just seemed to be missing in the flavor department. I'm not sure if it's simply the style of the area, but it could have used a little more seasoning or something to make the flavors stand out. I've had sushi at many different places, and this just didn't quite have the flavor I was expecting. That being said, the overall experience was good, and I'll definitely visit again. Their fried rice combos looked amazing, so those are next on my list to try!

I ordered the eel bowl, ramen, dumplings, and a coffee and everything hit in its own way. The eel bowl was the star for me. The glaze was perfectly balanced, not too sweet, and the eel was tender with just the right amount of richness. The edamame and pickled veggies kept it from feeling heavy, which I appreciated. The ramen was creamy and flavorful without being overwhelming. The meat was cooked well and the broth had depth, not just salt. Dumplings were crispy on the outside, soft inside, and paired well with the sauce. Service was smooth, food came out fresh, and the presentation was clean and thoughtful. You can tell they care about what they're putting out. Only thing I'd say is if you're sensitive to richer broths, pace yourself because it's definitely filling. But overall, solid experience. I'd absolutely come back and try more of the menu.

Our bill with tax came to $14.30 and I added a $3.70 tip bringing the total to $18 and I signed the the receipt agreeing to pay that amount. When I checked my bank statement, I had been charged $20.78. I called as soon as they opened at 11 am and asked to speak to a manager. I was told he would not be in until noon. I called back at 12:35 only to be told he had come in but left and they didn't know when he would be back. Yeah, right. I call Bullshit on that!! Instead of trying to make things right for a customer, they gave me the run around. Needless to say we will never eat here again. I know a $2.78 overcharge is not huge, but its the principle of the matter as I signed the receipt and agreed to pay $18, not $20.78 and if they did this to me, how many other people are they doing this to and getting away with it as well??
