I came here for my sons graduation from basic training. I wasn't sure what to expect but I was super impressed with the facilities and with the show they put on. Spectacular music. Great choreography. Everything went off just like a New York stage production. They had soldiers throwing colored grenades, something I had never witnessed before. And then these army tanks coming from nowhere through the cover of yellow and green smoke. Then the firing of the guns began and you were witness to a war in action. While all this is happening you hear this spectacular music playing Bad Boys! I was so impressed This was followed by what appeared to be hundreds and hundreds of troops following behind the band. This is an absolutely beautiful facility! We came for the Independence Day Celebration yesterday, which is FREE! There were probably ~30 different food trucks and 3 beer tents. The kids had plenty of rides to pick from and a full petting zoo! There were three concerts at night and each were an hour long! We enjoy Big & Rich, FloRida, and 3 Doors Down last night. Each of them were fantastic!! I also MUST say, many of the Army privates were at this event and every single one of them was so polite when walking by or even saying hello! It was a great reminder to truly appreciate our freedom and remember it isn't free. Thank you to each and every soldier and family member for your service!! Will definitely be returning for next year's event! read more
