Across the street from Herzer, we lucked into Frölich-Hake Weingut Dornfelder Rappental - a full bodied red that was very smooth Grauburgunder Freyburger Edelacker was very fruity and smooth and it was extremely interesting to see how the 2014 differed from the 2015 We also took a chance on their dessert wine - due to the price, they do not offer tastings but given their other wines being so appealing, we decided to get a bottle of this as well We also really liked the description sheet that provided the sugar content so we could get a sense for which we might like more, which would be more dry, etc....
