Only gave 3 stars because it wasn't my favorite. I'm more of a Jersey mikes sub guy but it's always nice to try new things. I wish there were more toppings like more meat, more cheese, veggies etc, it was kind of flat. Taste was decent, needed mustard but I know this isnt that kind of sandwich. In a condescending tone she repeats the question, then points to their 101 signs plastered. TOO MUCH TO READ. IT GETS LOST. Is it so hard to just answer? This spot is really good. Fresh fruit smoothies and mexican (tortas) sandwiches are amazing. It is tasty and fulfilling. Service is somewhat quick because they take their time making it as best as possible. The ambience is ok, I mean not much space there so either take out or go when it's not rush hour because it can get really crowded. I always forget to take photos but when I go back this weekend, I'll take some. read more

Always come here for lunch and love their menu. Its simple and easy. They are friendly and have fast service. There's a lot of kids that come from the high school and sometimes can be a bit loud but usually pretty chill. Definitely recommend trying the fresas con crema also. read more

This is the first place that I ate at when I touched down in SD. This is also the first place that I ate a torta and it was so good! Food: I ordered the number four combo with chicken meat and ate that up so fast. Next time I'll order a full sandwich instead of just the half that came with the meal. The combo included half a torta, fruit salad, and a regular sized drink. I spend roughly 8 dollars. Decor: The furniture looks like nice outdoor furniture. It's comfortable enough. The restaurant overall is pretty small, as well as the tables (the tables will seat two/three people comfortably, tiny little things), so you might not want to bring a large group here if they're busy. Overall it's clean and practical enough. Service: The workers all wear uniforms, very clean looking. No negative comments about the service at all. Went here for the first time the other day and got a chamango. The place was empty, but I could see that the dining area was large with plenty of tables, as well as a stack of magazines for guests to skim through. This place is also very clean, which is great. They offer all the usual stuff a Mexican fruit/smoothie shop would have - including fresas con crema, tostilocos, etc. It's nice that this place wasn't busy - I usually go to Teresita's on Palm and that place gets crowded quick. The only downside about this place is that they only offer one size for their chamangos (16 oz.), whereas Teresita's on Palm offers small, medium, or large. read more

Every time I come here it satisfies. Very rarely the fruit isn't ripe, for the most part all the fruit is fresh and delicious. The reason for the 4 stars is because the wait time is extremely long. Chamango is a big hit here as well as their fruit salad. Chamango is a mango blended smoothie with chunks of mango, chamoy, and topped off with tamarind like bits. It has that sweet and sour salty flavor to it. It is great on your palette. Just thinking about it makes my mouth water. Try it & enjoy! read more

I have been coming here for years and they have maintained their quality in both snacks and juices (I just wish they used organic vegetables for their juices, eww pesticides) and their prices have gone up quite a bit. I believe there is a .50$ fee for using a debit card without a minimum purchase. I haven't tried any of the food though. There is nothing inherently special in regards to decor or their service. Ordered the large fruit salad and a chamango, next time I'll ask for extra honey for my salad. Place was clean, staff was busy working.
