"We work quickly and efficiently" - NO - 3-4 days maybe, after a snowfall! I tried to get to know my snowman, he never came. I called and called and called and got excuses; truck broke down; they are in Brampton where they got more snow, etc. Your promise, "a hassle free winter and a snow free property," that I have yet to experience. We have had only 3 snow falls, with more than 5 cm of snow and no one has come to my property within the 24hours after a snowfall, or 48 hours or 3 days! After 3 days, as Frosty The Snowman did not show up, I had to get someone to do my walkway, my front entrance - so what is Mr. Snowman going to do? I called in December after not getting anywhere with their spokesperson on the phone that gave me no indication when I would get service. I asked for Owner/Operator of the company to call me as they have not fulfilled their contract, I wanted nothing to do with Frosty the Snowman; asked them to remove their sign, which is embarrassing as the neighbours see what kind of service I get, and Chris did not call me back. I got this service as I was having surgeries and didn't want to worry about the snow removal. So Frosty the Snowman then gives my address to a contractor guy to call me and tell me that he is now looking after my property and that I am a priority. So it snows more than 5 cm and NO SHOW again. So I call Michael and he said they don't come out when it is going to melt. I was then emailed an invoice for the remainder of the contract, which they canceled; however I felt they still owed me for work that they GUARANTEED to do, and they didn't do the work, so don't expect any more $$ from me. I paid CHRIS NUGENT $450 to keep my driveway free of snow from Nov 15 - Apr 15. He guaranteed me that I wouldn't have to worry about it. First snowfall nobody showed up. I called the number on the website with no luck (IT WAS DISCONNECTED). When I called Chris's cell phone, Michael answered. Michael assured me he would come & clear my snow and of course he didn't show. When I called the next day I spoke to Michael again & asked to speak with Chris, Michael proceeded to tell me, Chris has gone to Miami for the winter & that he was dealing with all matters. Feels like the classic take my money and run. I wonder how many other people were taken for their money. By far the worse service I've ever had. This is by far, the worst company I have ever dealt with. Chris took my $400 and promised my snow would be cleared until April 15th. After I made several, persistent calls in December, I had my snow removed once and I never saw these people again. I`m not surprised he vacationed South - he took everyone`s money and never provide the service that was paid for. read more

We used Frosty's Snowmen in 2013 due to a great postcard advertising campaign they distributed to our area. They arrived with the contract and asked for a cheque and we obliged. To our disappointment, for the hundreds of dollars we spent on the seasonal contract, they only cleared our driveway a total of 3 times. That averaged more than $150 per visit. On the last visit, they cleared only 1/2 of our two car driveway (and we didn't have any vehicles home at the time). I wouldn't waste your time or money. When we did speak with the owner on the telephone he used inappropriate language and never arrived as promised. I would not recommend this company to anyone. We ended up shoveling our driveway ourselves most of early 2014 and paid for service we hardly ever received. Terrible service. When and if they show up they do an awful job. They forget to do the sidewalks. Once they shovelled around a newspaper on my porch; they couldn't be bothered to move it off to the side. Save your money and find another provider. Chris will make the sale but NEVER return your calls or emails after he is paid. read more

This company should be lumped in with the Scam artists to avoid....As a senior citizen I contracted with this company for snow removal services for the 2014-2015 season. Paid upfront (stupid mistake on my part)...comes the first snowfall and no-one shows up. Called and was told they were busy and someone would be here within 3 hours. Still waiting...As I was going to be away for a good portion of the winter, we agreed that I would leave salt for them to spread after snow removal. When I return after vacation, it was all still there - untouched. Spoke to all my neighbours who stated they hadn't seen anyone all winter. Contacted company and asked for my money back or proof that they had indeed shovelled. Repeatedly, I contacted them...a thousand excuses about not providing proof. We are now ready for another winter season and nothing is resolved except that I know I will never use them again, nor will I recommend them...and. Worst experience I ever had with a service company. I signed a contract for the 2014/2015 season which guarantees snow removal within 24 hours after snowstorm's end if the snow accumulation exceeds 2 inches. They never showed up for the first large snow storm and they later claimed that they actually did!! In the second one, after many phone calls, they showed up more than 48 hours after the storm's end and did such a poor job for less than 5 minutes, I had to clean it up myself. They blamed "equipment breakdown" for the delay. So, I decided to cancel the contract and asked for the outstanding pro-rated balance. After many promises to pay, I never got any money back. They even tried to cash my post-dated cheque that I gave them for the second half of the season after I cancelled the contract!! Luckily, I had put a stop-payment on it. By the way, the address that they have on their website and on their contract is only a mailbox and the "suite" number in the address is the mailbox number. So, good luck if you want to see or speak to a real person. I would never recommend this company to anyone. read more
