I would not trust this business with an important event. I was told she had a last-minute opening…read morefor my cake and 4 dozen treats. We went back and forth on the design, she took my deposit, and explicitly confirmed my order. She even contacted me afterward about the edible images and pickup. Then, 4 days before my event for 75 guests, she canceled the entire confirmed order, leaving me scrambling to replace a cake and 4 dozen treats at the last minute. I understand things happen, but reliability is part of the service. A refund doesn't fix leaving a customer without their confirmed order days before a large event. I ended up having to make everything myself. Beautiful work means very little if you can't rely on your confirmed order actually being fulfilled.

Yelp led me to A&C Cake Shop and, honestly, we couldn't have been more pleased. Everything from beginning to end was great. I worked directly with Alex and he was kind, patient, and extremely responsive throughout the whole process. He gave us the opportunity to do a small tasting of the flavors we were interested in getting for the cake and brought the vision of the cake to life perfectly. In addition to the 5-star service, the cake was equally delicious. We opted for a vanilla cake with fresh strawberries and it exceeded our expectations. It was a hit at the party with many asking for another serving. The price point was more than reasonable and size of the cake was beyond what we imagined. If you are in the Inland Empire and looking for a quality cake at a reasonable price, I would recommend A&C Cake Shop. We will definitely be returning in the future for a cake for our next big celebration!

If you like eating cupcakes with hair in it and want to be treated disrespectfully by the owner,…read morethen this is the place to order your desserts from. I went to the Adventure Markets in Redlands and bought a cupcake from their stand. I bit into the cupcake and was immediately disgusted by what I felt. There was a course hair in the cupcake. I went back and spoke to the owner. She was so dismissive! She said she didn't know what was in the cupcake and didn't recognize the hair because that's not her hair color. She was very argumentative and was trying to make it out like it was my hair. She even tried pulling it out and the hair was deeply embedded in the center of the cupcake. She had the nerve to ask with attitude, "So did you want your money back?" She should have said, "oh I'm so sorry! Let me give you a refund." Had she been genuinely apologetic, I would have been more understanding because sometimes things do happen, but no, she wanted to argue. Horrible customer service! I am in support of local businesses because I know it's not easy to run a business, but definitely won't support one where the owner is rude.
