AVOID frontier van lines! They are extremely unprofessional, rude and shady. The managing supervisor, John Stanford is egotistical and refuses to put the paying customer first. They have not called us regarding the status of our move for the past month even though our stuff was supposed to arrive 2.5 weeks ago. When you tell John that it is courteous for a moving company to inform their customer of where their stuff is, he responds with "we are operating within our protocol to not inform our customers until 1 day prior to delivery"; this type poor business etiquette and customer service should and WILL be reported to the Better Business Bureau. Frontier Van Lines should not earn any business. They are taking advantage of their customers during a stressful time. If I could give them 0/5 stars, I would, but I'm forced to give them something. 1/5 stars is giving them way too much credit. Zero stars. Worst movers ever. I hired this company for my move from Dallas to New Jersey, they assured me that the entire process was handled only by their own staff. The pick up went smoothly but the drop off was beyond a worst case scenario. The 'crew that dropped off my things were certainly local hired guns. Who continually tried to shake me down for cash left and right. It took the cops to come and get my cashiers check back from the driver who refused it as payment yet wouldn't give me back the check. Beware, Frontier Van Lines is a scam. They contract their work out. I recently relocated from Texas to Pennsylvania. The movers will add bogus charges to the estimate they provided you. A contractor will show up, not Frontier Van Lines. It was like watching a one ring circus as they loaded and damage my property in the process. They never deliver on time as promised. The delivery driver lied and said he uses the same crew. The crew when questioned away from the driver informed us they had been hired off Craig's list and did not know the driver until the day of the delivery. The damage done to our personal belongings left me speechless. Frontier Van Line's customer service could care less about your property. It's best to move the items yourself or pay the higher price to have a professional company move your property. Video tape, video tape and get photo id from the driver. The Department of Transportation should investigate, criminally charge and shut this place down. Beware, beware, beware. The score should have the negative factor. Frontier is a total rip. Let me start by saying that if you want to move your furniture DON'T use this company. I did an online quote with the customer service agent and when the movers showed up they re quoted me $2400 more than my original quote. The Lead Manager LIZ #(214) 400-8642 is a lair, unethical, and for all I know a scam artist. The team picked up my goods on Feb 27th and she was unable to give me my inventories because she didn't use carbon on the sheets. She told me that she would send me my inventories the next day. She brought both of her children to my home, they played with my kids, I fed her team, gave them each a cash tip, and it's now April 8th, I don't have my goods or inventories to date even after talking to her on the phone weeks after. If by some odd chance you do use this company make sure you watch this Lead get copies of your paperwork before they depart and insure she annotates all your items. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, she shouldn't be a Lead and should be fired. Now for the Corporate folks. I coordinated and was to have my goods delivered on or about 28 Mar-1 Apr. On Mon the 28th I called for an update, nothing and asked for my inventories. Called Tue, was told they were waiting for and update from the Houston Office, asked for my inventories, nothing. Called Weds and was told there was a problem with the truck and would have an update on Friday, no inventories. Called Friday 1 Apr, was told by John that my goods would be delivered by April 8th (over a week late) and I would have my inventories ASAP. Called the following week Apr 11th and was told my goods were packed up and I should be hearing from the Driver Chris soon for my delivery. Nothing heard Tue, Wed. Called Thurs and John was gonna get me Chris (the truck driver) cell number and a IPHONE Pic of my inventories. Nothing heard or received. Called Friday, spoke with John again. He says he has no clue where my goods are, the trucks location, and can't get a hold of the driver. What kind of shipping company looses contact or has no clue where a customers furniture is? Who's in charge here? No operational control of their outsourced team leads, doesn't know how to contact the drivers, and Lead in Houston (LIZ) doesn't follow shipping procedures. I'm living a night-mare in my new home. Been sleeping on the floors of my house with wife and three small children for over two weeks. I nor they have no clue where my goods are, not sure what I will get, if and when my goods arrive, and hope to GOD this never happens to any other customer. BEWARE If LIZ and her team show up to your home RUN AWAY!! I will be following up this post with an official complaint with the BBB. I used this company in November 2015 to pack and move me from Corsicana to Frisco. They quoted me $2600 and they showed up with a very small truck and hardly any packing supplies. They wanted more money out of me and they weren't going to help unless they got it and I had three days to be out of the house I was in. I ended up paying them more so that they would pack and move me. They ate a bunch of my canned fruit. There was syrup and open cans everywhere spilled on carpet. When they showed up with our stuff to the house in Frisco they wanted more money out of us. They wouldn't unload our stuff unless we gave them another almost $900. They packed all of our stuff and giant wardrobe boxes. I found a potted plant halfway in a box under blankets and clothes. This was the most stressful move I have ever endured. Save yourself time money and grief and go with anybody else. This place was a rip off. I'm surprised they haven't been sued out of business. Terrible terrible terrible! read more

I definitely won't ever use this moving company again! HORRIBLE! Items arrived a month later! Was told during the online quote that my items would arrive by a certain day and they lied! Then they picked my items up and sat it in a warehouse for 2 wks prior to moving it towards my state. They also trick you and make you think they are moving items towards you on pickup to buy more time to find a full load, then send you a delivery ready to move form weeks later, which THEN initiated the move. It's ridiculous! Tracking exactly when it will arrive was also a major issue. Nobody knew anything nor could contact the driver! This company made my move SUPER stressful! The employees just gave me the run around and didn't seem to care. When my items arrived, the movers didn't even assemble the tv on the tv stand along with other things I requested! You have been warned, DO NOT USE This company... Customer service after the money paid is horrible. I had items picked up July 2016 In Louisiana and delivered to Alabama Aug 2016. Two items damaged, 3 missing. Driver called warehouse and items sitting there. Was told they would be on next truck to Alabama...it is now middle of September and no missing items delivered. Have repeatedly called customer service, truck driver and any other number I could reach. All go on hold and no one answers or goes to voice mail with no call back. They have even hung up on me many times and I have been calm and just asking when the items sitting in warehouse would be sent. They are great until money is paid and then like the other complaint says this company becomes a black hole. Driver actually tried to say the two pieces damaged not a big thing, one piece has the side damaged to the extent it can not be repaired and it was nothing. Again telling you to scratch this company off your list of potential movers. UPDATE December 13 and still company ignores or hangs up on me. PLEASE DON'T USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!! I had an absolutely bad experience with this company. After they get your items and your deposit and 60% of the money up front, they will never contact you again. My coordinator never returns my phone call, and she always pretends she is not in the office, never return voice mail. They will also LIE to you. They said my stuff would be delivered on 17th, and when I finally called 100 times and got 1 person spoke to me on the phone (using different phones, because they track phone numbers...) and she told me that my stuff are not even loaded. They also said they were so busy that I was taking TOO MUCH of their time that they have spoken to me for more than 5 minutes. Then then hang up on me before I finish asking my questions. Also, they will overcharge you, the final price I paid is 2 times the original price I was quoted and they won't even give you a reason. In addition, in the beginning when I was shopping for movers company and I found out that Yelp review for this company is only 1 star... I talked to my coordinator Laura and she said this review is for another company in PA, and then she sent me a website with all five star reviews about their company. Turns out they FAKE reviews and that's very unethical. Also, the customer service is VERY RUDE!!!!! For example, one lady who is the customer service on the phone would say:"No matter how much you call me, it doesn't make any difference, I am in California." Another customer service lady said:" You can give us crapy reviews and I don't care a thing!" And another customer service lady said:"Please don't call us again!!!!" And they will block your phone numbers. I don't even believe why they are still in business? I hope in the future better business bureau can do something about it to regulate mover companies. I know how stressful moving can be but with them they made the move so smooth the whole way. i moved from Huston to Washington 2 weeks ago and this guys did an awesome job! they were really detailed about my furnishings and they warped it very efficiently. once they done with that they put it all on the truck very quick and left for the delivery. i got everything in one piece. it was a good decision to use their service. read more

If there was a "dislike" button I'd click it. I chose Frontier because their estimated cost was the lowest bid. It should have been an easy move, as all of our belongings were stored in PODS. Nothing to carry out from upstairs and nothing to disconnect or take apart. Their estimate for the move was even lower than the PODS delivery price on our move to Tampa, FL. BIG MISTAKE! First, the actual cost is about $3,000 more than the estimate. If I had PODS deliver our stuff I would have had it here 2 weeks ago. I could have hired someone to unload everything and still paid less. We are now almost 3 weeks out from the time they picked up our stuff and to date, it is still in their warehouse. My wife may be having surgery for cancer soon, and at this rate, she won't be able to come home to her own bed, but instead to the one on the floor that we're sleeping on now. I have called several times to request help in getting our stuff delivered but all I get is promises to get moved to the top of the priority list. Apparently, that doesn't mean much and no one seems to care, since our stuff still sits in Dallas. My opinion about Frontier Van Lines? Don't even waste your time talking to them! read more
