It was an older, but nice, clean store that carried a lot of different kinds of items. I could tell the community truly relies on this establishment since it's the only store, gas station, and post office for 100 miles or more. The restrooms were clean and had special touches. I particularly liked the word search puzzle hanging on the wall! The owner man behind the counter was very friendly, and it was nice to take a little time to have some conversation. I love meeting people from interesting places, and Reva was definitely an interesting place.

During our near-annual cross country road trips to North Dakota (well, the opposite corner of the…read morestate, anyway... outside of Grand Forks) we always try to plan a day to enjoy Theodore Roosevelt National Park. With COVID-19 high in everyone's consideration list, we planned our stops carefully. Of course In this town, most folks looked at us wearing masks like we were "Gulldern Californians" (we are) and acted like we should care what they thought (we didn't.) a few smart ass comments from some real tough guys-- you're a total bad-ass talking to my eight year old daughter like that, Cletus) but nothing worth going to jail for, and I just tipped my cap and wished folks a very nice rest of the day. As for the Convenience Store, it's one of the few places in town this trip that showed real appreciation for my tourist dollars, and kindness just because "Uffdah, yeah you betcha!" Nice people here. We gassed up for our car tour through the national park, bought some drinks and snacks, and even some little trinket for my youngest son. They have more items than you'd think they would... steaks and dairy stuff? Cool beans. OG gas pumps... they work great... if you don't like it, Dickinson is another 35 miles East. We'll be back to see our friends here. Yep, maybe we'll wear masks just to cheese-off the locals.

Recent roadtrip to Calgary, Alberta Canada, I stopped here twice to fill up. Went in to use…read morerestroom and grab some snacks. Very welcoming and clean. I then decided to just stay for the night. It was late and I was tired. Not once did I feel unsafe. It was well lit and quiet. There was a great deal of truckers nearby who settled in for the night also. Next morning I awakened to a beautiful sunrise. Then proceeded inside to grabbed some delicious hot coffee and a banana. The associate was so pleasant and friendly. This set me up to tackle my next stretch in Big Sky Montana. Needless to say on my return, I made it my mission to stop again at this Flying J in Beach, ND.

As someone who travels cross country very frequently, I often see these gas station convenience…read morestores... Well, it's more than a convenience store. It's actually like a truck stop. Because they have showers and all kinds of other things for truckers. Plenty of gas pumps and a good amount of diesel. Pumps, inside the place is neat and clean and again people always out on the floor restocking and refacing counters and shelves. The restrooms were clean, and easy to find. Plus they have just about everything you could want, including lots of different hot food items. Bottom line? If you're in need of some gas and a little bit of refreshment you could do way worse than stopping here. I would recommend checking them out if you're in between destinations.
