They have lovingly restored Carleton House and amassed a collection of antique musical instruments, photographs, and other artifacts displayed throughout the home. The very informative tour included music played by Karen and Steve. I can't say enough about the breakfasts; Karen is an outstanding cook, and she was very considerate about our dietary restrictions. We ate in the music room in front of a cozy fire on a different set of beautiful china each day. The attention to detail everywhere was amazing: rose petals and chocolates in the room, wide selection of shampoos/conditioners/etc., fresh baked cookies on arrival, I could go on and on. We had a wedding to attend and needed a place to stay for just two days, so we reached out to this…read morepark to see if they could accommodate us. From the start, the experience was excellent. Quick email replies, offered a fair price, and were very welcoming, which made planning last-minute much easier. The park itself is very nice and well maintained. The private, fenced-in yards were a huge plus, and the artificial turf was surprisingly comfortable and clean. Every lot we saw was tidy and well kept. We also got lucky with our timing -- the manager happened to be onsite when we arrived and personally helped flag us in while I parked the camper solo, which was greatly appreciated. Despite being easy to access, the park is far enough from the road that traffic noise wasn't an issue at all. Overall, a great experience. We'd definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, quiet, and well-run park. Almost wish I could try a long term stay, sure it would be enjoyable.
