William is a fountain of information and I can't imagine anyone knowing the history of Leavenworth and the men and women surrounding the area any better than he could. More than any artifacts he is a huge asset to RACCM. He really made an impression on this US Navy veteran from Iowa. It was probably the best tour I've ever had in a museum...large or small. It was a privilege to meet both him and the director. Thank you both for everything you do. You can find most of the basics surrounding the museum on the RACCM's Facebook page and on multiple other sources so I'm not going to delve heavily into it here, but it you are interested in military history (particularly the Buffalo Soldiers) this is a must stop for you. If you find the museum locked when you arrive, but you are there during normal hours make sure you use the buzzer by the door. They run a minimal staff and with the tutoring center downstairs they might be busy. It's well worth the wait.
