We had a beautiful new roof installed on our rental house by Black Diamond just last week. We ran…read moreinto Lorenzo at the home show, and he had Derek stop by to take a look at our wind-damaged older roof. Within a day or two, we decided to go with Black Diamond because they seemed very professional, had lots of good info about insurance claims, and after looking at their showroom and talking cost, we felt they would be a good fit for us. Definitely a great decision on our part! We didn't know anything about insurance claims, but Lorenzo and Tony helped us out, and put up with our millions of questions and surprise visits to their office. It was really easy to work between them and our insurance company. They went above and beyond as far as customer service, because we asked them to work around our renter's schedule, which they were happy to do, and they helped me out by bringing over some trim board I needed to paint before the install. They definitely didn't have to do that, but did it anyway, which we really appreciated! Lots of positive things to say about Black Diamond and the crew, but mainly we have a lovely new roof, which included a tear-off, new sheeting, ice guard, new composition and drip edge, all installed to code and made to last. The clean up crew did great, too, and even came back to do an extra lap around the house to make sure my renter didn't have any stray nails in his driveway. Oh, and they document EVERYTHING - lots of before and after pics, and Daniel even came out and took drone footage of the finished roof. Thanks, Black Diamond! I'll see you again if I can talk my husband into letting me get my new walkways:)

Not only that, when I fired them, Lorenzo threatened to put a lien on my house. I ended up paying $19k for the slab of concrete to the right that Black Diamond did with requests of $20k more, a showdown in my front yard upon being fired, confirmation from two other concrete contractors they didn't lay the rebar to code, and poured only four inches instead of the five we needed for boat storage.

I can't begin to say enough good things about Lauro, owner of Omega and his team. They are respectful, honest, considerate, clean, timely and very detailed oriented, which was the key to my satisfaction. They took the time to go over job specifics with me (on a daily basis) to make sure we were getting what we wanted and that the job in the end was to our expectations. And most importantly they are capable of making STRAIGHT lines. (You be surprised to know that many can't and leave things looking sloppy). Lauro is very responsive to phone calls and if not available to talk he always got back to my messages promptly. We hired Omega to do drywall work including: removal of wallpaper, texturing, retexturing, reframing, painting and a very small amount of tiling. They are very price competitive. Not every day do you have a team of guys that work well together and are so respectful. Thank you, Lauro, and thank you so much to your team for making our home look beautiful. Put simply, I couldn't be more impressed or grateful. I'll start with the fact that I don't know anyone in the business and picked them because of their radio ads and the "go Mariners" that they end with ... The first time I called I needed my sensors replaced as after all these years they simply wouldn't correctly register. I could close the door at night when it was dark, but had to force it during the daytime hours. Not only did they come out the same day and replace them, they switched them so the sunlight shined on whichever one was best - I'd try and explain, but I'd be wrong. That's actually not all. They also, tightened the chain, lubed the rollers and corrected the opening height so that it fully opened - adding some 3 inches which I probably will never need. They didn't try to sell me anything extra. They just did an awesome job. The kicker is the bill I received was way more than reasonable for the work and the service from my perspective. I don't know what others charge or whether the charge was reasonable for the industry - I can just say that as the customer, I felt it was a fantastic value. The second time I called was today. I woke up this morning an the spring had broken. I immediately called and got someone. They told me that they were super busy but would work me in. They did. They showed up just afternoon to measure and within an hour or so they had cut and installed the new spring and tested the operation. Everything seems to be working again and I couldn't be more pleased. I would not hesitate to call them anytime or recommend them to anyone. Thanks!!
