Then I was advised by primary nurse to go immediately to ER. Staff were amazing! I was immediately admitted. Did all kinds of testing. Put on IV-Antibiotics. The Care Team on my floor was outstanding! Nurses Chrissy, Melissa, LaChanda along with Care Tech Kierra. They had a lot of compassion, extremely supportive & knowledgeable. The hospital was only a couple years old with all private rooms, very nice. I Just wanted to give a shoutout to the staff involved in my care. They are an incredible team. I also have the impression that the office staff are not fully competent. For example, scheduling a 12:15 ultrasound, but the entire office is closed between 12-12:30. Empty waiting room, not answering phones and a closed window. Why are you scheduling people at this time? (I waited over 30+ min in a totally empty/quiet room). When I tried to ask if I was at the wrong time once the glass window finally opened, the lady was quite rude. Over the years there's been several "misunderstandings" with the office people. But it's not like I'm going to go find a new Dr or anything, so we just deal with it.

At first, I thought Dr. Meyer was wonderful…read more She was out of town for my delivery. Which is fine, she's obviously entitled to a personal life. However, I did not know this until after I got to the hospital. When you're 37+ weeks along, it would have been nice to know in advance when your doctor isn't going to be around. But, there are bigger issues. Dr. Reining was the on call doc. Things were moving quickly. I got to the hospital around 4:45 am and delivered at 9 am. The baby's heart rate had a significant drop. My daughter was delivered by the hospitalist OB via forceps and an episiotomy. Dr. Reining came in after I delivered. Didn't say a word to me, and left. I was upset about this and wanted to discuss it with Dr. Meyer during my 6 week PP appointment. After all, when it's your first baby and: 1.) Your usual doctor isn't around 2.) The on call doc from her practice doesn't show up on time and there's an emergency. 3.) The hospitalist OB, although he was completely professional, delivers your baby using forceps. (Most younger docs would have used a vacuum.) It's a scary experience. I understand that OBs' can't be at the hospital all the time, nor do I expect them to be, but like I said, things were moving fast. I wanted to feel heard. Instead, she got defensive and snippy. I won't get into the details, but I felt patronized and dismissed when I brought it up. All I wanted was an apology and some understanding from her or Dr. Reining, but apparently that was unreasonable. I never expected to see Dr. Meyer in that light. Her personality went from hot to cold. But I lost all respect for her as a person and a doctor. For other reasons, like appointment providers being switched without my knowledge or consent, hour or more waits for the majority of appointments. I felt like a second rate patient at this practice. At one point during our conversation, Dr. Meyer told me, "If coming here troubles you, you can go to a different practice". That's exactly what I'll be doing. To anyone reading this...I would advise you to do the same. When it mattered, the doctors' and staff in this practice let me down in every way possible. I chose a practice of predominately younger women for a reason. Not the hospitalist OB who was older male doctor with antiquated techniques. I was looking forward to the wonderful experience everyone seems to have. Sadly, I got the opposite and was basically told to leave when I expressed my concerns.

Generally you aren't headed here on a fun trip, our visit was no different. There are tons of urgent cares in the area. I picked this one because I drove by recently and the building looked very new, I knew where it was, it was covered by our insurance and because of the Yelp reviews and that someone said they were good for kids. I went to the light and came around back of the CVS this is really the easiest way to get in. We showed up before the doors were unlocked. We were the first people in line. In the first 10 minutes on a Saturday they had about 6 other walk ins. They seemed to handle the rush well. The office staff was prompt and professional. The nurse was very kind, patient and gentle with an upset kid who was in pain. We had to have x-rays. Our x-ray person was also top flight and did great with the situation. We saw Dr. Powers who was awesome. We saw him very quickly after all that he read the x-rays and assessed us. Ultimately just based on the age of the patient and severity transferred us to children's. He said he could/would take care of us but that they were more geared for what we needed. We went to a pediatric emergency room and even though he talked to them on the phone and sent the x-rays and paper work over it took them 4 hours and calls to several specialists to come to the same conclusion he came to cake to in 15 minutes. Ultimately he was correct we needed the resources to treat the situation in someone so young they had and it was the right choice and they did an excellent job. Based on Dr.Powers professionalism and opinions and his excellent staff, nurses and technicians. St. Luke's will be our first stop for all future urgent care! I can't thank them enough.

Stated who's fault is it that you fell in cement" Wow, talk about Medical Gaslighting " seems like he had a chip on his should said he worked in farming equipment and had surgery so I should be strong and fine like him."Refused to do a through Exam, or X-rays, did not care about my well-being , did not take it seriously,... If you are a woman I suggest not going here if you want to receive equal care.

The Rehabilitation Institute of St. Louis (TRISL) is the place to have your loved ones if they need…read morespecific kinds of rehabilitation.  The care and therapy my mom received here was nothing short of wonderful.  In no time she was up and around, getting back to a routine that was normal to her.  Showering, using the restroom, talking on her phone, etc., all independently.  Not only did mom receive awesome care and therapy, so did we as a family.  We were updated, and kept abreast of all progress.  Our questions were answered with care and compassion which gave us peace of mind.  This place was clean and the staff completely welcoming.  I highly recommend TRISL for anyone who is in need of rehabilitation for their loved one.  Thank you, TRISL for doing everything you did to get mom home and living independently again.

I saw my medical oncologist, Dr. Bagegni, with lab work August 8, 2022. I saw my radiation oncologist, Dr. Laura Ochoa, August 18, 2022, checking in the same lobby. This seems to be the normal program in this lobby. I did not need a blood draw at this time. I had great care on both visits.

I've been following his advice and icing my back daily also. Starting to implement a bit of stretches too. I was a little skeptical of seeing a chiropractor at first based on opinions of other negative people, but I'm glad I pushed past their discouragement. He also has these amazing roller tables in his office as well. I would love to take one home with me. Never thought I'd almost fall asleep on one.
