I guess I could've lived with it, but of course when I went to use the one they sold me the string started snapping immediately. That's when I realized it wasn't even the same model head and it was old cheap cord. They didn't even clean up the used model they gave me. Mind you mine was brand new without any grass buildup on it or anything . At the very least, they could've put the brand new head (that they handed me back in the bag) back on the used one they sold me. Just feel like I could've been treated better. Being a first-time customer it left a bad taste and I won't be back.

Our furniture was returned last week and we could not be happier. Our dining set and buffet look like new, with all the gouges, scrapes and scratches so well repaired that they are undetectable. Eric is a master refinisher!! He rebuilt a small Italian inlay table that we gave him in pieces. We had almost considered it a total loss. He also took the time to touch up many scratches on our larger pieces of furniture. Between Eric and Matt we were kept apprised of the status of the repairs and found working with them was always pleasant. We wholeheartedly recommend Michael's for any furniture repair/restoration you might need. Great job guys!!

Called the owner to request a new technician bc as I stated Chris made me uncomfortable in my own house and as a woman I would like someone different. Chris was suppose to be here by 11am the first appt, he didn't arrive until 11:47am. His second visit he was supposed to be here no later than 6pm, I called to reschedule at 6pm bc Chris had not arrived yet. The owner said it was their policy to let you know when they are on their way to your house, Chris did not any of the times he came here. He showed up late each time & did not give a heads up which is their process. The owner is a foul man and extremely disrespectful. He started yelling at me over the phone immediately and was not willing to fix my dryer that I paid for and in fact is under warranty with their company.

This is an update to my original post-…read more Original post- I was raised that if you break something, you replace it, and I live by that motto, but Bill's Rental are charging me for routine maintenance that should be done on their equipment and telling me that I damaged their equipment. I rented a 6x12, dual axle trailer with a max capacity of 4,000 lbs. I used the trailer for a roll of artificial turf that was 500 lbs. (see picture). After I return the trailer I was told that I caused damage. They send me pictures of a rusted and broken shackle strap (see picture). Anyone that knows trailers will tell you that these need to be replaced for routine maintenance or need replaced if someone puts too much weight in the trailer. The damage waiver that we pay covers routine maintenance and wear and tear but they are claiming that I caused the damage. There is no other damage to the trailer. I'm questioning this extra bill of $430 that they are hitting me with and Brian (downtown store manager) tells me they are going to send me to collections and that I won't be able to rent from them again. That's where I stand now. Still trying to resolve this issue I called back to talk to someone higher than the manager and I'm waiting to hear back from Hunter. Update- After multiple calls to try and resolve this, I get a call from Brian. He said that it was determined that the damage was due to wear and tear and that I do not owe them anything, and that I can rent from them again. While I am relieved that I do not have to deal with collections, I am still not satisfied with the way they handled this situation. They were quick to place blame and were quick to say they were sending me to collections by me just questioning these extra charges. There was no apology offered for the misunderstanding. Oh well, this was just a lesson about where to take my business in the future.
