I don't garden much, only if begged by my better half, but the food in the cafe is fresh and very very tasty. They always have specials and a great range of cakes and desserts. If you then fancy cooking for yourself there's a farm shop that offers fresh meat and seasonal veg from the Hootons farm in Anglesey. read more

Set in the countryside outside Caernarfon. This garden centre is the place to go for an excellent range of plants. They are well looked after and the staff are very knowledgable about the items they are selling and are always on hand to give advice. The plants are divided into easily navigated sections and are well labelled. The prices are good. There is a good cafe with very comfortable leather sofas where you can have a drink and a snack. The coffee is very good and teh cakes are nice. They also sell very nice and good quality furniture and home funishings. There is plenty of car parking. read more

Excellent establishment for all you gardening needs from the smallest item to the gardens bigger needs.Overall layout is easy to navigate and plenty of room to manover a trolley round.A great range of products and keenly priced. There is a good quality cafe with great service there. This time of year they have a very good Christmas display with a life size father Chritmas telling the story of the meaning of Christmas. They also sell home furniture which we have bought a couple of chest of drawers from there. read more

Great. It's a garden centre with a cafe, and they do both well with off shoots of locally produced food, furniture, homewares and books etc. It can get justifiably busy as their is little local competition in the cake department locally for the retired and young mum clients that frequent it most. I recommend taking a moment to read the story of the family that set it up and run it today which is between the cafe and the loos. Keep it up! read more

I love gardening, and like to go here for a look around the garden centre, but i do not buy much, just bulbs and compost really, oh and wild bird food. I used to love going into the cafe, until it was re-vamped at a few months ago now. Before it was waitress service, now its like a large dinning hall, with a counter self service style, with staff on hand to serve when ness. They serve hot meals now including Sunday Roast. It has gone more expensive, with the cheaper, snack based meals gone, and a salad bar, which when the items are added together costs quite a bit more than before. Near the enterence of the cafe there is a large table with cakes on, all of which are uncovered, with tongd so that you can help yourself, the cheepest cake on offer a scone ( jam extra) is £1.30p, then it goes to £1.50p. Some are homemade though. Most of the staff are helpful and cheerful. If you have small children in toe, its quite difficult to go from one place to another to get all the bits you want for your meal. There is no set menu, so you have to go round all the counters to see what is on offer, again not easy if you have children, elderly or disabled people with you. read more

We were very regular customers for years at Fron Goch, but an incident happended late morning today the 12th May whilst feeding our 13month old grandson the owner came up to our grandson and snatched his toy away without saying a word to us. Her attitute on being questioned was totally unprofessional and very very rude. J.D. Thomas read more
