I love how handy ordering in the app is for this store. You put in an order, you let the store know…read morewhen you arrive, and you wait to pick it up. The problem is, the staff has become very lazy and impersonal because of this. I went to pick up my order and I was the only person in the store - there were two employees at the back of the store. One went over to put my order together and the other one told me my order would be right up and then kept scrolling on her phone. At that rate, is it even worth it to keep two employees on the clock? I ordered the candy cane cookie, red velvet mini cookie, a grinch mini cookie and a chocolate chip mini cookie. Both chilled cookies were delicious. I have yet to try the other two, but I would recommend trying the candy cane and red velvet for sure!

We took home 3 blueberry scones and Devonshire cream, and had tea service in house with delicious lemon scones and apricot preserves. And of course a selection of teas to choose from. Note that we live in Mocksville but it took us a long to drive here from Hanes Park in Winston-Salem (17 minutes) as from here to our house. Can't wait to get back here.

Because they have almost everything and anything you could possibly want from a bakery. I was flabbergasted at the choices. Everything looked absolute beautiful. Besides treats and desserts, they also have quiches and sandwiches made to order. I ended up ordering two slices of ham and cheese quiche and two slices of cheesecake (plain & raspberry white chocolate) to go, along with a hot Mexican Mocha Latte (not pictured). The Mexican mocha latte was quite the wonderful surprise. The first sip you could taste the mocha and cinnamon, the aftertaste was a hint of Cayenne pepper. Truly enjoyable. We got home and had early lunch. The quiche was fantastic. Very savory with chunks of ham. My husband and I will really loved it. They also sell whole quiches for less price than most supermarkets around. We were going to save the cheesecake for dessert tonight but broke down and had it after lunch. My husband actually prefers just plain cheesecake and he loved this so much. I had the raspberry white chocolate it was a very lovely sweet tart taste. This place is incredible and the prices are worth it. If you're nearby you need to check this out.

On a whim, after leaving Planet Fitness, I stopped at Juice Life. I wasn't hopeful, but I was really keeping my fingers crossed for a vegan option. Hello Juice Life! Wow! This avocado smash veggie wrap is the cat's meow! It's fresh and delicious and the lady working behind the cash register told me about several other vegan options they offer too. It's flavorful and smooth and no "tastes like dirt" beet flavor at all (OK, maybe I am the only one that thinks beets taste like dirt!). I plan on returning to Juice Life tomorrow...and the next day after that. You have outdone yourself, JUICE LIFE! Bravo!
