He used to hate going to school and now (most days) he wakes up so excited to get to school to see his friends and teachers. Belle and Bernadette are great directors, very friendly and attentive to any concerns. The facility is always very clean and comfortable. This facility's response to COVID has been impressive. I feel very confident dropping my son off every day knowing that he's in good hands and kept very safe. I can't recommend this place enough.

My child was kicked out for a bogus reason because as a single parent I advocated for her well-being. Yes, my child would have accidents and no communication, no communication additional clothing was needed, she would have clothes and undies not hers, diapers that didn't fit, pull ups or no undies, or nothing at all plus red and irritated private parts. My child went to that facility since 6 weeks old and never had so many issues that weren't resolved until recently such as failure to be aware of her lactose allergy and served her whole milk in lieu of Lactaid on numerous occasions. I am appalled this center has not received more complaints and inspections for the lack of attention to detail for each child in their care and the lack of training management has. Also they bribe currently enrolled parents to place positive reviews in order to receive fee waivers, don't trust the reviews. Our toddler loved it there and had close bonds with her teachers and friends. We always felt informed about what she did each day, and she definitely got a jump-start on education and life. More importantly, we felt like she was always cared for like part of a "family" rather than an enrollment figure. Highly recommended; our biggest regret in moving away from the area was having to leave Memorable Moments behind!

I've read some reviews about Menaul that were negative. While I can't speak about the school now, I…read morecan only speak about how it was when I attended from 82-86. I found my voice here. Class sizes were small. We didn't have iPads or computers given to students. I had great teachers. Appreciated dedication of teachers, some I am friends with today. I learned strong work ethic. Appreciated all the kids that left home and lived in the dorms. I didn't. We had mini weeks that were educational. Choir took us to AZ where we sang in Presbyterian churches and stayed with host families. We were the school cleaning crew. Back when I first started going to school there, I worked on campus in the summer to earn money for my tuition to help my parents. Because classes were small, many of my friends are from when I attended there. Many return for homecoming. Many are still involved on the board or alumni committees. We're a family. I'm so grateful for everything I experienced and learned there.

But, having said that, I still believe…read morethat I have an outsiders' perspective of the school's history and a general educational outlook for students attending Menaul School. What makes me even slightly knowledgeable about Menaul School? My viewpoint comes from working in the Menaul Historical Library of the Southwest, which is housed on the Menaul School campus. In that capacity i have met a number of very successful adults who have attended and graduated from Menaul School. I have read the extensive history of the school (opened in 1896). I have watched the students - both local and international, both day students and boarding students. I have read the school's written history and what this educational institution has accomplished in presenting well-educated, interesting and capable adults to communities around the world. We need more schools that are capable of educating well-rounded contributors to our world. Menaul School is a school that does. Menaul School is a co-educational, college preparatory day and boarding school for grades 6-12. If you are looking for a small, but excellent educational opportunity for your children, don't hesitate to put Menaul School on your research list. (www.MenaulSchool.com) Come visit the campus; meet the staff and instructors; walk this beautiful campus in the heart of the Land of Enchantment. The best future opportunities for your children lie in a great education - they will get that at Menaul School.

I attended this school a couple of years ago and I have a couple things to say, the education was…read morepretty but now let's get into the severe racism and sexism if you want to go to this school as a girl who is black I would suggest choosing a different school. When I went to this school as a black girl teachers had assumed that I had parental problems and that my life was going the wrong because apparently I didn't have a father. Me and my siblings were constantly verbally attacked with stereotypes and slurs. I would be walking around and someone would yell at giving me dirty looks and asking me if I was going to play basketball or run track. It was time for us to watch a presentation so the teacher had asked me to turn off the lights and once I did the white boys had yelled "where did ******** go?!" saying I had disappeared from the room. Whenever I would wear an all black outfit the boys would ask me why i'm not wearing any clothes. Then when I was in class learning about history, more specifically slavery, I would always get looks or be asked if I know anything about the slavery or the teacher would apologize for her ancestors treating my ancestors like that. If there was a word that they didn't know how to pronounce, the teacher would ask me how to say it assuming that was my "language". Any other black person who was there the students would ask if we are either related or dating. Lastly, for sports I was on varsity for every sport I did especially track the coach himself had said that he knew I had more energy in me since my ancestors had run a long way so I should be used to it. When I asked for a water break the coach said that he thought i was used to not drinking water frequently, that is a quote. I wouldn't recommend going if you are black.
