My friends and I came here one afternoon for coffee and dessert after reading all the good reviews…read moreonline. We walked in to a completely empty place, with just the owners sitting at a table eating food. No greeting whatsoever, we decided to seat ourselves. We sat down and waited for the menus while the owners continued eating their food and talking quietly to each other while staring at us. After about five minutes it was clear they were not going to to serve us, so we left and they didn't even acknowledge us leaving at all. They didn't even say hello, offer us menus, or tell us they will be with us soon. I'm guessing because we were a mixed ethnicity group. This is not the first time I've experienced this kind of anti-immigrant behavior from Antwerp businesses. It's not even cozy in there, but rather very dark, old, and stale. Do yourself a favor and go to Popoff around the corner instead.
