Frisby's customer service and project management team did a great job of keeping us up to date and informed on the status of our complete roof replacement. The booking and ordering process was easy and convenient (all done online). The only negative during this process was the extensive backlog of their project. I was surprised to hear how many weeks (4weeks I think) I had to wait until the work began. Very poor experience. They were very quick to send me an estimate, and to charge me for half of the project cost. Once I was charged, I heard nothing from them. When I would call, they would send my calls to voicemail. Emails were sporadically answered with excuses and reasons for delay. Long delays, poor communication, shady payment. Contracted with Frisby to replace our house roof late June/early July and gave them a 1/3 downpayment. They stated they were about 6 weeks out. On Sept. 3 (8 weeks after initial contract) they called and said they would be there the following Monday and requested another 1/3 payment (we had now paid 2/3 the cost). They did not show on Monday and called to say they were delayed and would be there the next week. Again did not show and stopped communicating with me. I had to keep calling them every week and they would never provide a date. On October 21 (7 weeks after they had told me they would be there on Monday) I called and they returned my call stating they would be there the next day. They did replace the roof the next day, but sent me a message wanting the final payment right then. I was at work and had not inspected the work. Told them I did not authorize any withdrawal until I inspected the work, and had to verify there was sufficient funds in our account. This was based on them providing less than 24 hours notice the work was being completed and needing to get funds transferred over to the account. They went ahead and withdrew funds anyway. They have sent me 5-6 messages in the last two days asking about the final payment.....even though I paid 1/3 in July and another 1/3 7 weeks ago. read more

On April 7, 2025, we received an estimate from Frisby construction to replace our roof. When they did a site review they said they made a bad estimate and increased the estimate by 50%. We had used Frisby before, so we contracted with Frisby for a roof replacement on April 27, 2025. Since then we have had 9 new scheduled dates for which they have never honored. 5 dates have been NO CALL/NO SHOWS. Do not use this company. Had a small leak in our roof near a vent pipe and called and spoke to Joe about getting it repaired ASAP since historic rainfall was predicted within the next 72hrs. Josh came over the next day and quickly assessed the problem using a drone. An hour later (at 6:30pm!) his crew arrived and made the repair in little over an hour. He also noticed we had leaves clogging a gutter downspout that I could not easily reach and had his crew clear it out at no extra charge. Do not hire these roofers unless you want to royally piss off your neighbors. They would NOT stop banging on our door while we were sleeping, just to ask us to move our vehicle for the second time yesterday. After the tenth time knocking, give it up. They even tried opening our front door before we finally answered. It's a good thing it was locked or else someone would be shot. They have set up shop and are working/throwing all their debris on OUR (the neighbors) property - our front porch & walkway between houses. There is no way to access this area without opening and intruding through our front gate. They did not notify us or ask permission. They have done a lot of work for me, but their work was shoddy. I sent them pictures, and they want to charge me to fix it. Said they would offer me a discount for being a good customer. I would rather pay someone else if they don't want to fix something that is clearly their fault. Nobody ever inspects their work, and they hire subcontractors that they don't take care of. The guy that did my work said this was his biggest job and first time working for them. They even sent his paycheck to my house, which was lousy on their part. It has been three years since our roof was put on. The initial crew was great and did a nice job. My complaint was not replacing flashing at the time which has proven to be a problem. In the spring (23) we had a leak in our kitchen during a period of unusually heavy rain. (I had a couple contractors look at our kitchen bump out where the leak occurred and both agreed it was most likely the counterflashing that was not replaced). I called Frisby because we were still under warranty and they sent one tech out who made his report and then a few days later a company family member(J.F.) was assigned to our case. After a lengthy back and forth the family member decided that it was not the fault at the flashing that it was likely improper weeps along the wall, denying any responsibility. At any rate, I have had the ceiling replaced on the interior and low and behold there were two small openings through the flashings where daylight could be seen from the interior. I have since hired another roofing company to replace the flashing that was not done by Frisby. I was initially impressed with Frisby however this experience was disappointing. I am not even sure the argument they put forth was worth the value of what would have been a relatively minor repair in their world. read more

They hire subcontractors that they don't monitor. The workmanship of the subs is sub par and not to code. They advertise themselves as a faith based organization, yet they condone poor quality work and try to cover up with their contracts and double talk. Before you hire check out Clermont County to see how many times they have been sued!! OMG! And look at the positive reviews closely, some are not even in OH. We are very happy with the work that Frisby construction did on our home. We had some pretty bad hail damage to our siding and gutters. They helped us through the entire process, from the estimates, to meeting with the adjuster, to sitting down and explaining our options for items that were not being covered by the claim. We chose to get the better grade siding and the price they quoted, was the price we paid. We did run into some delays with scheduling and it ended up being 12 weeks before they were able to start the project vs the original 4 to 6 weeks. However, once they began, the teams worked hard to make sure our home was beautiful again! They also made sure to clean up each day before they left, so it didn't look like we were living in a construction zone. Thank you, Frisby! read more

Horrible experience. We got a new roof 4 years ago, it leaked in several places from the start. We called them and they came out four times, but never fixed the leaks. After that they wouldn't even come out to fix their mess (despite having a record of our previous attempts to get the new roof fixed) without our paying them. Finally, we've given up, had the leaking areas ripped out and replaced by a reputable contractor. Sadly, we also had to tear out all the roof boards, the ceiling, walls and flooring in the worst rooms because of rot and mold. This was a very expensive and terrible experience for us! read more

I would look elsewhere for your roofing needs. Frisby has no respect for your time and is very disorganized. When the contract was signed I asked if they will be covering all of the surrounding landscape so nothing would be damaged by their roofers discarding materials off the roof. I was told they would tarp all these areas to protect all surrounding areas around the house - well this didn't happen. When I asked the roofers to cover the areas, the only person who spoke English stated they didn't have anything to cover these areas with! I had to call their office because they were throwing materials off the roof and it was hitting and piling up on the air condition/heat pump unit. The roofers finished at dusk, so I investigated the roof more closely the next day. I found that the paint they used to paint the exhaust ports etc were painted with a brown spray paint. They were suppose to be painted black to match the roof (per their "contract"). Also found a dipped area in the shingles and a nail that was put through the drip edge. I sent an email to Candace specifically asking for a scheduled time where I could meet the roofer to go over and correct these issues. I was told someone from the crew would call me. No one called me (of course), so I called Candace and I was told the crew member went over to the property to evaluate and reported everything was okay - I was never notified like I had specifically asked to be so I could be present. So at that point I then verbally asked if we can schedule something like I had originally requested. I again was told a crew member would call me to schedule, and wait for it - of course no one called me to schedule. I became very busy with work so a few weeks went by before I was able to put more time and energy towards this daunting situation. I emailed Candace again about not hearing from anyone for weeks. I then was told I never had contacted them about any of this ..... Are you kidding me? Is this company that ignorant??? The original communication was in email!! At this point I was finally given a day and time for a roofer to meet me at the property, well the roofer was a no call no show - why was I not surprised? When the office was contacted about their roofer disrespecting my time with a no call no show, we were told the roofer was sick. Because of this illness we were told by Ashley that she would call us back that following Monday to reschedule. She never called until 4 days after her promised day to ask if we could meet the roofer the next day at either 10 or 11am - sure, why not, we can drop everything to meet your disrespectful roofer with little to no notice. We agreed to meet the next day at 11am. Now present day, Saturday, November 5th 12:33 PM still no roofer. Another no call no show! Remember he was suppose to show at 11AM. I think I need to start charging this company for my time! If you are thinking about using this company, don't! Once you are paid in full - which be careful, they will remove the money right out of your checking account automatically without notice the day after the shingles are down (it is in the small print on their "contract"), they will string you along and disrespect your time. I should have known this company would be like this when it took them almost a month to start the work, and they rescheduled the start date a few times creating issues with trying to schedule a day off work. Christian company? Yeah right.... I think they need to read the Bible that they hand out to everyone who signs one of their "contracts". Horrible experience with this company, crew did awful work all 3 times we had to call them out to fix the original "work" they did. Had a new roof put on back in February before going on deployment. First time out the crew did not replace hardly any decking, even stepped through one piece and tried to shingle over it. Second time, they beat up our gutters and still left a lot of bad sagging spots on our roof. Third time I have yet to see personally because I'm still not home, but every person I talk to who sees our house says we need a new roof because this one looks that bad. Not to mention they drove a roofing nail through the compression line in our AC unit and just won't take responsibility for a mistake that cost us even more damages. Buyer beware after hiring Frisby to do my roof I got an all foreigner crew to do the work. After the roof was done it developed a leak around the vent pipe roof never had a leak till I hired Frisby. After I contacted Frisby They said Simon would be out between 1and 5. He showed up at 630 in the dark with a flashlight to do the repair. Said they didn't seal around the vent pipe and he sealed it. Dried my ceiling myself next day it was wet again. Simon came back out and said vent pipe got cracked or hole in it during roofing job put a cap on it, still leaking now they call and tell me my repair isn't covered said the pipe damage was an unforeseen problem with the roofing Job. I signed a contract with Frisby Roofing to have new siding put on my house in late 2016. The warranty was for one year. Early in 2018 the soffett on the back of my garage dropped to the ground. Upon inspection of the pieces that remained hanging the job was done incorrectly. After sending emails and making phone calls I finally resorted to posting the pictures on their website, clearly showing that the job was done incorrectly, and asking for their help in fixing this one single soffett. They sent a young man out to take a look this past Thanksgiving. He said the entire job was done incorrectly, and he would suggest to his bosses that they send someone out to fix this soffett correctly, even though the warranty had expired. I pointed out that the warranty on the siding on all of my neighbors homes had expired as well, but their siding wasn't falling on the ground ! I never heard from this company again !! I had both houses roofed by Frisby Roofing. The first house was done on time and exactly on the estimate. The second roof was done but was off by 588 dollars. They said the ridge vents were good and didn't need replacing. This saved my 588 dollars on the bill. They did an excellent job, finished on time, and left the yards as clean as they were before they started. read more

When installing my roof, unskilled, nonEnglish speaking workers, disconnected the vent pipe from my tankless water heater by pulling pipe out of roof to put on a collar. When replacing it, they didn't check to see if it had reattached to heater in the house, so exhaust venting into house, making heater malfunction. Cost for repair $149.00. Same roofers left DISH receivers hanging off roof by wires. Cost to have receivers replaced on roof $155.15. Haven't heard from Frisby Roofing about crediting me for plumber, but they say Dish expense my responsibility. Or they MAY pay for part of it, but will not pay for all of it. In September 2018, our roof was replaced by Frisby Roofing. Two weeks ago, we noticed water coming in on our second story landing. It's been a little over 3 years since our new roof was installed....it should absolutely not be leaking. I called Frisby Roofing 3 times, because I kept getting an answering service and they weren't sending my messages through. They finally call me back to say that they've added me to their work order list but they're short-handed so they would get to me whenever they can. That is completely understandable as everyone is short handed at the moment. Last Thursday, a gentleman named Donald came out to assess the situation. He was extremely nice and apologetic about the roof leaking. Our roof is leaking in the exact place of our old satellite dish. Donald asked about the satellite dish and I told him that we haven't had satellite since 2015. He then asked why the roof installers didn't just take it down. I explained to him that no one at any time had asked if we wanted it permanently removed. The installers removed the satellite dish, installed the roof and then put the satellite dish back. They obviously did this incorrectly as it is leaking three years later. Donald was very nice... I explained that I started chemo treatments so I'm home all the time now, whenever they can come fix it, is fine. He explained that Frisby is a "Christian" company and that they would make it right since it's such a simple fix. Donald even mentioned that the job would probably only need 3 shingles at most. Fast forward to today, 6/6/22 and I receive a text from James at Frisby. He said they can remove the satellite and fix the roof for $425!!! I'm appalled. This is Frisby Roofings fault 100%. They only guarantee their work for a year because they know their roofs won't make it much longer after that. You can go buy cars with 100,000 mile warranties because those car companies know that their product is good and they're not expecting much to go wrong. However, Frisby knows that their work is subpar so they only cover it for a year in hopes that they can continue to make money off of you in the future. They were contracted by the original owner to put siding on a house we purchased . Frisby subcontracted the work to another contractor.The contract was still with Frisby according to the previous owner. The house had No ventilation. They just went over vents with siding. This can cause mold roof issues higher electric bills and insulation issues. When contacted they did fix side vents. Of course I had to call them back because first time the subcontractor just threw a vent cover up. We discovered this after they left. Then when the subcontractor came back out he says do you want me to cut the vent out . Really ! I wouldn't hire them to put siding on a dog house. Frisbrefused to fix the cross ventilation on the house. Even though this is code. In my opinion a reputable company would have brought this house to code no questions ask. I have had my roof for a little over two years. They tried to lie about the amount of plywood they had to use and overcharge me by several hundred dollars. Good thing I speak Spanish and could ask the crew myself. When I asked for proof they backpedaled and agreed to count the foreman gave me. Now, my roof has been leaking for weeks now. BAIT AND SWITCH SPECIALISTS As a previous reviewer said. This has been a most stressful experience, ever! We received a flyer in the mail from this company for a quote for our roof. I had never heard of them, but I was impressed that they took the time to get a google image of the top of my home and give us what we thought was a fantastic price. Their flyer said things like 'limited winter pricing,' and 'we can offer this price because we cut out the middle man, etc.' I looked at the quote for a couple of weeks before calling. I went in to go over the quote and sign a contract. Their was nothing out of the ordinary that was pointed out to me, and the meeting went well. We agreed on the quoted price, plus a couple of hundred more dollars for things they we needed. I paid a downpayment with an agreement to pay the rest later. Here's what I found out, much too late, and is the reason for the low rating. 1. Their quote only included half my roof, which was not made clear to me at the time of the contract. The back part of my house is just one level, as opposed to the rest. That part of the roof was not included. They rest their argument on the tiny google image photo of my house where they shaded off what was included. The picture does not do a good job of letting you know that you are not getting the whole roof. They never verbally said "This only includes this part of your roof", nor did they offer to quote the rest. That really hurts because that was the part that needed a new roof the most, as we have some leaking there. 2. We agreed on a price. I paid that price. Now they are saying that we owe about 3 times the original price we agreed on. They did not 'discover' this additional charge until 20mins after they already tore off part of our roof. Specifically, they're saying that we needed a new roof deck, which they "did not know" at the time of the contract. I understand that there are unforeseen factors, however, I am not a roofer. Given the age of my house, and my roof, it should've been mentioned that I could possibly need this, for an additional $XXXX, BEFORE they proceeded to tear off my roof. Had I known that this was a possibility, I would've chosen to wait till I had the money. After all, they mentioned other unforeseen factors, and their approximate price. They showed up to my home and started tearing off the roof when I wasn't home, and 20 minutes later they tell me I owe triple the amount quoted. They are also claiming that they tore off 4 layers of shingles, which they are also charging us extra for. This I know to be untrue. According to the home ispection report from when we bought the house, we only had 2. What they have done may be legal, but it is unethical. They gave a low-ball quote to get the job, but now they want me to finance the real cost and pay it up in 1 year. I was upfront with them that the price they told me was all I had to devote to the project, but now they want me to pay money I don't have. It is not right. We will be going to court to settle this. When that didn't stop the leaking, they said that a new roof doesn't always solve the preexisting problem. When their 3-man crew showed-up the morning of the install and walked right past the roofing materials on their foreman had left on my patio a few days earlier to my greenhouse (which doesn't have shingles) I should have trusted my gut then and sent them on their way. I remember yelling out my office window, "Where are you going?" One guy responded, "We're here to fix the roof. We are getting the materials." I said to him he walked right by them. They installed my roof on June 6th. On June 21st, went in my attic to make sure no rain was coming in. I found more than 11 holes in my roof where I can touch the underside of the shingles! The pieces of wood are laying on my insulation in the attic. My contract with Frisby states that I should have under layment between the wood and the shingles - so i shouldn't be able to touch the underside of the shingles (besides the fact there shouldn't be holes). I sent pictures of some of the holes to Frisby on Friday June 22th. I have talked to 3 people at the company with no resolution and have asked each person to have Dave Frisby call me and he hasn't. read more

At the same time we scheduled the roof work we also had them replace our metal chimney cap. This work was just completed July 18 almost 4 months after roof. Last Spring, we went to the Home and Garden show and there were many roof companies there. I talked with one company that sounded like a good deal, so I invited them out for a quote. They came back so high, I could not believe it. Next our neighbor had his roof replaced, and I invited the contractor over for an estimate. They came back with a more reasonable price, so we started planning how to pay for this. A while later we received a flyer from Frisbee Construction with an estimate attached. I was shocked at the price. Since I had everything quoted from the last contractor in writing, I decided to check it out and see what they offered, apples to apples. We met with them and went over everything as far as quality of shingles, to the edge guards, everything. We got to look at the shingle color and quality in the Milford showroom. After reviewing all the details, their price remained what they quoted on the flyer. We did one upgrade on the ventilation. Was still at a reasonable price. I decided to go with Frisbee. as they were able to save us a considerable cost. The only issue I had was because of the rainy summer we had, our install date was pushed back several times. Our new roof was completed 2 weeks ago and I have to admit, I was impressed with the crew, they worked nonstop, and finished at dusk. The roof looks fantastic, the crew worked over an hour just cleaning up, and I was impressed with the workmanship. Some of the reviews I have seen mention that they are hard to communicate with, being Mexican I assume. I had no issue, the head guy had no problem communicating. One thing I can comment is they worked harder than any other contractor I have ever hired. Very pleased and have more money in the pocket. I have all ready recommended Frisbee to others. read more

A tree fell on our house May of this year (2018). Our deck and roof were both destroyed and needed repaired. Frisby's came out with the inspector and things seemed to go smoothly. The roof was repaired in August and the Deck was not completed until end of September. Mandy did stay in touch keeping me updated but I felt like the process was extremely long. Also they forgot to install new gutter guards and the vent on the top our roof and it took weeks for someone to have time to replace them. SCAM ARTISTS! I received a flyer that was mailed to my house from Frisby Roofing. They has a aerial view of my home with the Square footage of the roof. It have the exact roof size, waste factors, ect. So I contracted Frisby Roofing to get a quote to replace the roof on the home. The flyer they mailed said the cost to replace my roof was $2150. I called Frisby Roofing and spoke to "Lilly" she said she was a project manager. She scheduled an appointment for a inspection. Lilly called me a few days later and said that our roof had three layers and she could provide photos. She also said that the aieral measurement didn't include the porch and detached garage. I asked to send me a new quote for the removal and replacement of the roof. She sent me a new quote and it was now $5000 to remove and replace the roof on the house, porch and detached garage. She said they were two to four weeks out on the roof replacement and I would need to put down a 50% deposit. I signed the paperwork and paid a 50% deposit on my credit card on 4/2/2018. On May 9, 2018, Frisby Roofing delivered the roofing materials to the house with a trailer for the debris. Lilly said they would be finished with the roof in two days. On May 14, I called Lilly and told her no one has come to work on the roof. The weather has been fine and there was no reason they could not have worked on the roof. Lilly said she would call me back. She did call back and said that the crew was working on another house and was behind schedule. This cause me to postpone our painters and landscapers. Lilly called me on Wednesday 5/16/2018 and said that she needed a Verbal approval to add a extra charge for (5) FIVE layers of roof they would have to removed plus they will have to replace all the plywood decking because of damage. I asked he if the roof was removed and she said no. I asked how does she know if the plywood is damaged. She said that it is. She said the new cost would be $3800 dollars more than the original quote of $5000 for a total of $8800. I told her that this is highly deceptive and I felt that this was sounding like a scam. To quote a price and then jack it up like this. I asked to speak to a manager. She said she is the manager. I told her I would not agree to such a huge increase in the original contract quote.I told her that this sounded like a scam. I told her to please remove all the material and dumpster from my property. She said they would charge me 25% PER THE CONTRACT. I explained to her the contract was for $5000 and I said they came out to the house, got on the roof, took pictures and sent me a estimate for $5000. and now she is telling me it will be nearly $3800 more? She said yes. I said to her, "Your the experts and you didn't see any of this before? She had no answer. I told her I was going to get a second opinion, which I did. I had a new estimate and there is four layers of roof but all the plywood is in perfect shape. The new estimate from a new roof from a local roofer is $6650. total. I feel that Frisby Roofing under estimates roofing jobs then jacks up the price and holds a contract over your head. read more

Buyer beware! Bait n switch pros. Watch the low ball roofing pricing only to hope your job doesn't require any add ons. Crew did not speak English, not have any uniforms or trucks showing any affiliation to the company....just a yard sign. Hard to communicate with especially when they didn't protect landscaping. Concerns taken to the company but were ignored. Go with a company that isn't simply selling jobs for budget crews and will come and give you more of a "firm" quote. You will get what you paid for. read more
