If I could still post my experience without any stars I would. I am not one to leave a review on…read moreplaces but the service I got from this Salon is by far the worst I have ever experienced. My first experience with this salon was when I talked with the store through their website regarding walk-ins for a women's trim. I was told that they did do walk ins if they had the availability throughout the day. That same day I happened to be at the mall and wanted to give the salon a try. I walk in to the salon, the stylist were sitting up front messing around with some thread. I asked the stylist if they accepted walk ins and immediately got an attitude from one of the stylist who said they did not accept walk-ins. The stylist said I could set up an appointment which I said I wanted to but no one offered to make an appointment for me while I was in the store. I was given a $5 off card by one of the guys after he basically ran out of the store to give it to me. I proceeded with making my own appointment online from 1:30 - 2:00. I was running late from work so I called the salon at 1:23 and informed them that I was still coming and would be 10-15 minutes late and asked if there policy stated if you were x amount of minutes late if my appointment would be cancelled , I was told over the phone to still come in and they would cut my hair. I walked into the salon to the same thing no one in the store both stylist sitting at the front one was on their phone. The stylist I was seeing was sitting at the counter asked my name and proceeded again with an attitude calling me hun saying she wouldn't cut my hair because I was 15 minutes late and the 15 minutes of time from 1:45 to 2:00 was not long enough. I then stated I had just called and was told that I was still able to get a hair cut, the gentlement on his phone got an attitude and said no you said you were running 10 minutes late. I proceeded to get upset as I specifically asked over the phone what the policy was and was told to still come in. The guy proceeded to argue with me, I informed him I called the store at 1:23 and was there at 1:45 which meant I was a total of 12 minutes late, I understand not wanting to rush through a hair cut but little did this stylist know I have hair stylist in my family and that I know the game of a salon. I know that if you are not a regular customer at that said salon they would not go the extra mile for you. I also know that stylist typically have only 15 minutes to cut a clients hair. As excited as I was to finally find a permanent hair stylist I could continue to go to as I have been in search of good service and someone who is willing to go that extra mile for their client and yet again I was let down by another salon. I will not recommend this salon to anyone and will never go back. I hope this reaches the owner of this salon and no one else experiences this same service that I did.

So, my regular girl couldn't fit me in, and she also doesn't carry Kerastase at her salon. I really…read morewanted a Kerastase deep conditioning treatment, AND a haircut so I needed to find a salon that even carried it. Salon Pynk came up and I called to book an appointment. While it's a little out of the way for me, I was looking forward to the new experience. My appointment was at 10 AM on a Saturday, and since I had other stuff to do, I was early to make sure I could get in right at 10. I get to the salon, and their not even open until 10. OK, cool. Well, 10 AM rolls around and nobody's still in the salon to even open. Eventually, some of the gals showed up a few minutes later and I was able to check in. Anyway, since the girl who booked my appointment had epically failed to write ANYTHING down, they asked me what I was in for that day. They thought I was a walk in! LOL. I showed her my confirmation text and we were all confused. So, I had to tell her that I needed a wash, cut and a kerastase treatment. Here's where it gets even weirder. Normally, these treatments are $30 and can only be done at the salon. It's a spray in thing, and usually lasts for about 8 to 10 washes, but it super hydrates your hair. Since I have dry frizzy hair, it works wonders and a treat for me to get. Now, Kerastase could've changed stuff but I'm pretty certain it was a misunderstanding between the stylist and myself. She told me that the treatment was $50, had caviar in it, and I had to sit under the heat helmet for 30 minutes. I'm like $50? NO. nope. cancel cancel cancel. It didn't sit right with me from what she was saying about the Kerastase treatment so I passed on it. I didn't want to offend her but I wasn't paying her $50 dollars for it. After some awkward conversation, I got to the shampoo station which was probably my favorite part. The chairs have back massagers in them! WHAT?!?! I need one at home. The gal did a really good job and I ended up going to the station and sitting with my stylist. I will say, the haircut and style came out great, and even though the first half of the appointment (and I use that loosely since they never really booked me for a formal one) was painfully awkward, I did enjoy the style here and cut. Total bill was $45 for the whole thing. Weirdly enough, they do not allow you to add tips on your card. It must be done in cash or Venmo. How did I figure this out? There was a sign on the front desk with QR codes for each stylist and their venmo account so you can tip them directly. Interesting. Make sure to bring cash or have a venmo account.
