The view from the campsite is gorgeous, you overlook the entire city of Salzburg. The camp site is close to a bus stop if you don't mind a short walk through a field to the 13 bus. If you need directions the management in the office is more than happy to oblige. The office closes around 10pm so call ahead or try and get there early and they only take cash transactions. There is a small shop inside the office area where you can get butter, other breakfast treats and of course the famous Stiegl beer.

This place is PERFECT with its very HOSPITABLE hosts (a family business), SPECTACULAR views, MOUTH WATERING menu in the restaurant, SPOTLESSLY CLEAN toilets/showers. We doubled our intended stay and we all had tears in our eyes when we had to move on to keep to our itinerary. Thoroughly RECOMMEND this place and would return without hesitation. A must is the WIENER SCHNITZEL in the restaurant. Travel into the city is an easy walk down the hill to the bus stop with a nice playground/park for the kids just before you cross the footbridge. Bus journey is less than 10 minutes. Make sure you get to the caravan park office as soon as it opens in the morning to buy the FRESH BREAD. Also make sure you are carrying cash as they don't take cards. Enjoy this place and all that beautiful Salzburg has to offer, especially the Fraulein Maria Bike Tour from Mirabellplatz 4.
