I had CO2 laser with Dr. Meyers in March, to the tune of $2600. He said he would get rid of my brown spots, the tiny red veins and give me back my eyelids. NONE of this happened. I was assured that complimentary IPL would take care of the rest of my concerns..but guess what....Payson Dermatology doesn't do any of those procedures, and said that nothing they did with former patients of Dr. Meyers would be complimentary, they did NOT take over the financial responsibility for former patients. I am very disappointed in the old New Leaf team...I went through a week of my face dripping onto my pillowcase, and got very little out of it except for a huge dent in my checking account. Brittany told me to contact Payson Dermatology about a possible chemical peel, but even tho I don't think I would be interest in that, Payson Dermatology said they would do no continuing services for free. Payson Dermatology does NO LASER TREATMENTS at all.

A treatment was shoved at us so hard that my teen commented it was like a cult or a weird infomercial. I agree. 4 people with us in a small room pushing a dangerous drug like a Vegas time share? The side effects of that treatment were minimized or omitted completely and they are very very significant. According to the medical literature they are "most often not permanent." Oh, good. Further, to create the cognitive dissonance necessary to get people to take this - based on faith which I thankfully don't have - the teens problems are magnified and exaggerated There seems to be something off here. I don't know what it is yet but I'm working on it. Again, he might be a great doctor. Absolutely possible. But it would actually be irresponsible of me to not warn other people to take teens somewhere else.

Eight weeks later, I went back to complete under my bra area and mid-back. Going into it, I was honestly terrified because I'm not a fan of pain at all. But from the moment I walked in, Dr. Hall and his entire staff made me feel completely comfortable and at ease. During the procedure, I was shocked I literally felt no pain. Afterward, I went home, rested, and still had no pain just soreness. The next day was just mild soreness, easily managed with Tylenol. I was initially told by her that it must be allergies to the permanent sutures, so I underwent revision surgery with her. She then diagnosed the nodules as "fat necrosis". Soon after revision surgery, the nodules started appearing again. I was then repeatedly told by Michelle that it must be thyroid-related causes. After seeking another revision from a highly experienced double board-certified plastic surgeon & ENT down the street, I was informed that the nodules were full of pus and bacteria, located on/around the permanent sutures. I was also told that the nodule that was distanced lower than the rest, had a free-hanging suture that wasn't attached to anything. I was advised that what he found was consistent with infection related to the permanent internal sutures Michelle placed in me and could likely be due to the sutures being unsterile/compromised during surgery. This was an extremely painful and distressing experience that significantly impacted my quality of life for OVER a year. When I reached out to her office regarding this, I was met with denial, zero accountability and was warned multiple times in a threatening manner not to post about it online. I strongly encourage anyone considering cosmetic surgery to thoroughly research their provider and ensure they are board-certified in plastic surgery. Unfortunately, a cosmetic surgeon with a doctorates degree in dentistry is a very considerable, and concerning difference.

I went back for suture removal 3 weeks later, the wound was still not healed and I was told to come back in two weeks. My stitches were removed 5 weeks after the procedure, but the MA that did the removal (bergstrom never looked at the wound) missed a few sutures, so I had to go back next day when I noticed them. The MA placed steri-straps on the wound to "keep it from scarring". Well a year later I still have a huge gaping crater over my spine, I was actually asked if that scar was from a gunshot wound!!! Horrible work, all because the nurse practitioner has better things to do than her actual job
