I have NEVER, felt so embarrassed and disappointed at a floral arrangement as I did this one. I was present at the time when the recipient received the arrangement. We both knew the arrangement was shameful and skimpy and awkward looking. I took pictures and called 1-800-flowers to report the dismay . I ordered the XL bouquet and ended up with a smaller version. The organization of the arrangement was poorly structured. The message on the card was hand written with childlike hand writing. What I paid, and the occasion it was for, caused embarrassment and a bad taste in my mouth. I told 1-800-flowers, I do not want, that florist taking my orders ever again. The florist does have to have enough complaints and bad/reviews for them to cancel their relationship with that florist. I was compensated, somewhat, for the issues but not enough, to make up for the moment and the wow factor, that the recipient didn't experience.

When they arrived they were beautiful. Then, less than 4 days later they were dead. I left them 2 voice messages without a response. When I finally spoke with someone (she said she was the owner), she sounded like she never heard about my issue. I told her what happened and she blamed the flowers dying early on excessive heat. She said the flowers should have lasted for 2 weeks. I assured her these flowers were in a temperature controlled environment and not near/on anything hot. I would have asked for another delivery but the fact that she clearly has less than the average customer service and florist skills, I asked for my money back. She said she couldn't give 100% back and offered 50%. That's not acceptable to me considering the flowers didn't last for 50% of what SHE said they should have lasted. I asked if she could offer more and she declined. I told her I'd have no choice but to dispute it on my credit card which is when she hung up on me. Unfortunately, I ordered these online and did not directly order thru this company. Had I seen the other reviews on Yelp, I would have never ordered from this company.
