Honestly my favorite Chinese spot in all of College Station. The food is well-seasoned, generously portioned, and just tastes authentic and amazing. It's quick, convenient, and clean, perfect for casual dining. The food is easily worth coming back for. My personal favorite item on the menu is the eggplant in garlic, but there's still more I need to try. And I don't even live in College Station! read more

I went here twice within a week. I went here for the first time with my Ladies Dinner Meetup Group on a Wednesday evening. I ordered the Walnut Shrimp with no rice. I prioritize protein these days. Anyway, when my meal arrived it was HUGE. I don't think their meals are meant for one person. The taste of the walnut shrimp is outstanding. So Good. It's fried with some kind of sweet sauce and candied walnuts. It was so good. I took most of it home and ate it for dinner over the next 4 days. Then earlier this week I went there for lunch with my mom. I ordered the same thing, the walnut shrimp and my mom ordered the egg drop soup. Her soup bowl was so huge she will probably eat it all week. She loved the soup. She also liked my walnut shrimp, so we split it in half and each took some home. I think I am coming back here next week for my birthday. Also the service is really good here. There was only one guy running the whole restaurant and he was amazing. I had a little chat with him after my meal because he seemed dismayed that I had only eaten a little of the shrimp. I ate 4. These days I can't eat alot at once because of a health issue. But I LOVE the food. read more

I visited here in late September, very excited to try a new Chinese spot as a college freshman not from the BCS area. The food was okay. There were a lot of peppers and not much meat for the price, which felt fairly high. The ambiance was nice though. I liked the wooden decor. However, the service was disappointing. I was really looking forward to that day with my boyfriend. When we asked for rice, we were told it was $3.00 per bowl. We paid, but when we asked if it was usually included, the server responded in a biting tone and said, "You must have only gone to Americanized Chinese restaurants. Real Chinese restaurants charge for rice." After this interaction, service seemed to slow down, as our water was not refilled promptly and it took a while for the check to arrive. This surprised me, since I often go to Houston's Chinatown and have usually had rice included at many restaurants. I was also surprised by the contrast based on what I've heard from friends who were born and raised in China. I later heard from others that they were not charged for rice or were charged less than we were, though I can't say the reason for the difference. One thing to note is that rice pricing was not listed on the physical menu. Overall, it wasn't a great experience, and I don't plan on returning to dine in at least. read more

Frice - Fried pork intestines and a cold sliced beef dish - Chinese Near Me - College Station, Texas

This place is absolutely the best Chinese in the city. I'm so glad they took over 555, which went way down hill. The food is amazing. I've gone alone, with my whole family, I've even taken my TAs there for dinner. Each time we are greeted by the owner. He handles the dining room better than a team of people at any other restaurant. I miss the old Shun de Mon in the bcs grocery store, but this fills the spot. read more

Frice in College Station seriously surprised me in the best way. This is legit, authentic Chinese food, which I honestly did not expect to find here. I'm actually sad I tried it only a couple weeks before moving away, because if I had gone sooner I would 100% have been a regular. We ordered the deep fried chicken with chili, and it was amazing. Super crispy on the outside, juicy inside, and packed with flavor. Not greasy at all. One of those dishes you keep reaching back for even when you're already full. We also got the spicy dry pot with beef, and I loved it. It came with a good amount of veggies, so it felt balanced and hearty at the same time. The mala flavor was strong in a good way. That numbing, spicy kick really hits. Everything we ordered was definitely very spicy, so if you have a low spice tolerance, keep that in mind and maybe order something milder. One thing to note is that the dishes do not come with rice, so you'll need to order it separately. It's about $2 per bowl, which is fine, just something to be aware of. There was a bit of a wait when we went on the weekend. The place is pretty small, maybe around ten tables, and I don't think they take reservations. It also seemed like one person was handling most of the orders, including to go, but he was super nice and patient. Just go in expecting a possible wait and you'll be fine. Overall, this is really good Chinese food and especially perfect on a cold night since the spice warms you right up. I wish I had discovered it earlier so I could have tried more dishes. Highly recommend, especially if you want real mala flavors in College Station. read more

Came here for the first time. Ordered the Chicken Fried Noodle, Chicken Fried Rice, Yangzhou Fried Rice, Sautéed Garlic Lettuce, Eggplant in Garlic Sauce, Sweet and Sour Fish, Beef Rolls, Beef Noodle Soup, and the Braised Pork Belly. EVERYTHING was very flavorful and delicious except for the chicken fried rice and the beef noodle soup which we thought was ok. The braised pork belly was probably our overall favorite. The eggplant in garlic sauce is delicious, but a very powerful flavor that requires a rice dish to balance it out. The delicious beef roll was like a banh mi sandwich, but in a crispy burrito-like roll. Dishes are ala carte servings. Overall, a bit pricier for smaller than normal ala carte sized dishes, but it is worth it once in a while. I gotta say that I think this might just be the best Chinese restaurant so far in this city for me. I loved T Staff are very friendly. Service is slightly slower, but there's only 1 waiter who also does the cashier meaning there's probably 1-2 cooks in the back. There's less than 10 tables to dine at and it got busy pretty fast and people had to wait. Located next door to Kumon in the plaza where Planet Fitness College Station is located. Lots of parking. read more

May 15, 2025 Was close to motel 6 so it was my dinner. It's only been open a few months. I got shrimp fried rice, sesame balls, DP, and orange chicken $45! Nothing seemed like it was made to order, more like reheated in a wok. It all was pretty good. Big portions. Sesame balls were yummy; my fav. Ate them quick so no photo! read more

Came here for dinner it was packed.. the place is small. Many dirty tables that were empty now but had not been bussed. So we decided to take our food to go. We had some basic white people Chinese and got sweet and sour and beef and broccoli and some fried rice. It was all pretty good. But felt it could have been a touch better. Will definitely come back and try some more of the menu. read more

This place is absolutely amazing! I genuinely think this is the best cucumber salad I've ever eaten at a restaurant. It's perfectly seasoned (not too salty not too spicy) and it's broken into easy bite size pieces. The portion is also relatively big! The beef noodle soup was just delicious. The broth is hearty, and you're able to adjust the spice level as you'd like. I chose the highest spice level they had and I really enjoyed that the spice didn't overpower the actual flavor. Service was also super quick! I have to stop by the next time I'm in the area! read more

Food is quite good and the service is also good. They were kind enough to keep their restaurant open even though we were in there past their operating times. The great: Deep-fried shrimp with peppers (best item), the fried rice and the noodles. The good: Stir-fried beef with peppers (decent but nothing exceptional) The average: pork in garlic sauce (maybe just not suited to my tastes), mapo tofu (I've had better) read more

The shrimp is crazy good. Always busy but fast. Never gotten anything we didnt like.

Enjoyed a family meal recently at this little Chinese place, and it got the thumbs up from everyone. Favorites were the fried shrimp with chili pepper, eggplant in garlic sauce, and the shredded pork in garlic sauce. Fair prices, good service (on a busy night), and, based on the clientele, legit Chinese food in CStat. Check it out. read more

Absolute gem of a restaurant! Great for authentic Chinese food! You know it's good when the menu is in mandarin as well! The green beans were so perfect and full of flavor and crisp with a little spice. The honey walnut shrimp was good but seems to just have a light glaze sauce over, there could've been more of tossed in versus on top. We also got the braised pork belly. We were super excited for the dish but it was underwhelming, and I didn't like the texture or sauce. The beef stir fried noodles were amazing, and I would totally get again! The service was slow because there was only one waiter, but it was still a great time. I understand it was probably a small kitchen and short staffed. It is a very cozy and small dining room. I would come back here again! read more

nice new authentic chinese food spot here in college station! i'll start off by saying i absolutely loved the szechuan chicken. the chicken bites were juicy and wonderfully seasoned. the mala spice has an excellent numbing kick to them as expected. the sour soup on the other hand, while warm and good, had a touch too much umami for me. not bad, but i did enjoy the chicken more. i noticed a lot of people were getting the whole grilled fish, which we really wanted to try but since only two of us were dining we didn't get to, will have to go back! service was nice and attentive and the restaurant is clean with lots of seating! was very popular on a saturday afternoon. overall: 7.75/10 taste: 8/10 price: 7.5/10 would recommend coming here for authentic chinese cuisine! definitely get the szechuan chicken. read more

Very good, it is like a small piece of a China diner was taken from China and sat into College Station. Albeit, this is coming from someone who has never been to China! The food was good, I got the pork intestines by with chile. It was a busy place with lots of conversation happening, the service was good. read more

BEST Chinese restaurant in town I am so happy that we finally have an authentic Chinese restaurant in College Station. Their food is hot and fresh. We have ordered deep fried chicken with chilli pepper, sweet and sour chicken plus the steamed chicken with chilli sauce - it is to die for. Service is good. We definitely will return to try other dishes. read more

This food makes me wish I was chinese. Once I tried FRICE, I legitimately realized I've never had good chinese food before. This is the best I've ever had. Of the couple times I've ordered, the food was always somehow ready when I arrived and PIPING HOT as is if it was JUST COOKED. Fresh food and excellent service. Also all the tables were full both times I went and everyone was enjoying there food. I'd definitely recommend the ambiance even if I can't understand what anybody is saying. read more

Amazing food. Good service they're always working hard. The absolute best fried noodles you can have. Also the green beans are so good.

This place is the best. I cannot recommend it enough. If you need food recommendations for the first time you're here my top ones are the beef fried noodles and the green beans, they're so addicting. For entrees I recommend the beef or chicken and broccoli or the orange chicken. The pork belly is so good if you like a good fatty pork belly. They are all family style so keep that in mind. The family that runs the restaurant is so nice and sweet. The food might take a little to come out depending on how busy they are but it will come out nice and hot. I LOVE this place. read more

Excellent authentic dishes, great portion size, friendly service. We used to drive to Houston to get some of the dishes found here like the big chicken and eggplant mash. Very happy that a local restaurant now serves these. Absolutely recommend. read more

Did a large takeout order for family yesterday. When you walk into the restaurant and are greeted by the smell of garlic and ginger and see a customer with an enormous bowl of hot and sour soup you know you're in the right place. About a 4.5 really but an amazing place. Nice, kind staff. Very attentive and considerate. The food is amazing very authentic. Somewhat limited menu(honestly I think that's wise.
