She connected us with properties and resources to move our homemade ma and pa rescue from our small property into places that could accommodate hundreds of animals. She guided us into a 501C3, helping us establish a facility above the Farm Store (shout out to Doc) and helped us grow into one of her facilities in front of the Farm Store. She connected us with just about every veterinary facility in the county and helped us grow into bigger and bigger facilities (shout out to Reggie at RMI). She did all of that for us while maintaining and growing Humboldt Spay and Neuter. She exposed serious issues in the rescue world making the world safer for these amazing creatures, all the while making everything better for anything she touches. If I am ever one tenth of the caliber of her I'll feel really good about myself.

Despite the fact that I paid extra for shampoo because I really liked the shampoo they sell, they kept giving me bottles with 99% water diluted shampoo. Upon request for an alternative bottle I was told, "That's just how it is." And "it's diluted." Yes very diluted. Don't waste your money. I suggest you use the self use dog spa in Arcata where they are friendly and never dilute the shampoo and try to gaslight you into paying for a bottle of water. I will never return to this pet store.

I drove 2 hours to make it. I asked for a TRIM on his paws & butt. Here we are 10 years later & I took my husky who got completely botched. I'm going to drop the photos here for everyone to review & make their own decisions. I know hair will grow back but this shows the "expertise" of the groomer. I know this review may do no good to the owner whose response to criticism has been quite colorful to say the least, but I do know that in a small town word travels faster than wildfire & I plan to take my botched pup to every local place to show off his "muddy paws look". Both processes were organized and informative with tons of support. The facility was clean and the staff was kind and compassionate. Any questions I had were answered with kindness and patience.
