I had the most wonderful experience with this salon. Three days before school started for my daughter, I came barreling in needing an appointment for a cut . The front receptionist (with amazing red lipstick and a great smile) made it happen for me that day ! Can you come back in an hour ? HECK YES I must have yelled. During my daughters cut. My son is running around (two year old) and wanting to touch everything !!! The staff kept smiling and helping me entertain him. Offered him juice and a brownie !! Yes I did say brownie !!! I had a small conversation about how I was needing some help replenishing my hair with the stylist. Felt comfortable to book with her on the way out of my daughters fantastic cut !!! When I returned two days later !! For myself she was amazing. She really listened to my frustration and suggested a couple different options. We chose one and on we were into the process. Conversation was great the entire time. Before I knew it I was on my way out with an amazing transformation !! This salon is by far the best in Winnipeg !!! I recommend anyone to give it a shot !!! Freshair Boutique is a great place to have your hair, nails, and makeup done. It is a very relaxing place to go to. Praise is my hair stylist and I could not ask for a better one. She never pushes you to try anything you are not comfortable with. She advises you in what she thinks would suit you and also takes the time to suggest products that would be good for you and will tell you honestly what could damage your hair. She goes out of her way to give you the appointment time that is best for you even if it might put her out. The thing I like most about Praise is she listens to you she laughs with you and she cries with you and she never forgets your personal story. I have never heard any customer ever complain about anything in the salon. Everyone who works at Freshair Boutique seems to be always happy and their customers are always laughing and contented with what is happening. I would have no problem having another hairstylist do my hair if Praise was a way, they are all that good and the atmosphere is also that good. read more

Freshair Boutique is an all-around fantastic place to get your hair, nails, or makeup done. I've been seeing Amy for four years now and every single time she does something completely on point with my hair. I've also sat with their other stylists for a quick bang trim or wash and style and everyone is professional, creative, and tons of fun. The place has such a great vibe - it feels to me like a 50's beauty parlour (but with way better music choices). I also really love their commitment to being as eco-friendly as a hair salon can be, from recycling their excess dye and hair to the refillable shampoo containers. It's not the most sustainable industry, so I really appreciate the foresight of this place and their efforts to do as much as possible to reduce their footprint. I have been going to Freshair Boutique since it opened! I love my stylist, Amy, and I always look forward to my appointments. Even though they aren't frequent..the salon and Amy always feel so welcoming! Right from being greeted at the door, offered a beverage (wine on Thursday eve's!) and dainties, to the glorious shampooing and hair service...I feel gooood (and spoiled). Other great things..the establishment is clean and beautifully decorated and offers a multitude of services for a one stop shop if needed! Wowee! What's better than getting yer hair did by a team of super talented and awesome women? Answer: Nothing. Not one single thing. I've been washed, cut, coloured, and blown out by a number of different stylists there over the past number of years and have never left feeling less than 10/10. I have long, thick hair, and this is actually the only salon I trust to come within 1 metre of my hair. I came to Fresh Hair on the recommendation of a friend, hoping to find someone that would understand how to cut my curly hair and I was not disappointed! Not only is Praise incredibly talented, but the atmosphere of the salon is so wonderful, everyone was super friendly and warm, they even give you the sweetest little new client gift when you arrive. I recently started getting my hair done at Freshair (by Amy) and I couldn't be happier! The salon is such a great space, it is bright, fun, very inviting, and also very clean. All of the staff that I have encountered are very friendly and really seem to love what they do. I love the little extras that you get at an appointment (i.e. Baking or wine on Thursday appointments)! All the stylist are very professional and have excellent skill sets! The vibe in this salon is very relaxed and inviting. I appreciate the amount of time that I've seen every stylist chat with their client before even touching their hair in order to get a good understanding of what they want. I really liked the concept of an environmentally responsible salon, so I made an appointment here for a cut. I ended up with Chloe as a stylist - she was so wonderful. I was cutting off a few inches and she spent time with me talking about what I wanted, how I wear my hair, my hair type, etc before starting the cut. I've been seeing Olivia for my hair for over 6 years. She is an amazing stylist and I can't recommend her enough. She is so honest and really works with you to make sure you are happy with your hair. This is the one salon I've been to where I always feel truly comfortable. Everyone is nice, always welcoming, and professional. I've had a manicure with Ashlie and it was great, lasted my entire vacation.
