Honestly, having everything in one package made my life so much easier! I didn't have to go out and find a bunch of separate vendors, which was a huge win. They really listened to what I wanted and were there whenever I needed them throughout the process. We had calls along the way to go over everything, coordinate timing, and connect with the coordinator to talk through the flow of the day, and discuss what I did or didn't want included. We even choose how the Photo Booth print would look. All of this made me feel really supported going into the wedding. The free engagement shoot that came with the package was also such a great bonus and helped out a lot. We booked the platinum package with FreshJive because we loved the idea of having one vendor take care of photography, videography, DJ, and the photo booth. It made the planning process so much easier! Our photos and video came out perfect. We were so excited to share them all with our family and friends. The photo booth was a HUGE hit with our guests and gave everyone something fun to do in between dance breaks. Manny customized a monogram to project above our dance floor which was a cool element that our guests loved! He also designed our photobooth print outs to match our wedding invites. FreshJive is busy year round so while responses sometimes took a little longer than expected, Manny always followed through and made sure we were taken care of. One of the biggest ways he supported us was by helping design our day of timeline. He walked us through every detail and pointed out things we hadn't considered that could've impacted the flow of the day. His experience and attention to detail helped everything run smoothly! First time using Freshjive. I was originally looking for a DJ and lighting for our event and i came across this company's profile on Instagram. After checking it out we went for the platinum package since it was for a quinceañera, and the thought of dealing with more vendors than we already had wasn't ideal. Aside from a little "phone tag" before actually booking Manny was very helpful in explaining what to expect throughout the process up until party day. He was helpful and open as to where to take the "pre-quince" photos, since our daughter was looking for a specific setting. Leading up to the day of the event, I had lots of questions, changes, updates and all sorts of other curve balls that I threw at Manny and he worked with us the whole way. He never said no, but would offer advice when something would potentially interrupt the flow of the day so we could make an informed decision. We just got our pictures and video today from a August 2 2025 event, and it was ABSOLUTELY worth the wait. The video was beautiful and the pictures as well. I wanted to love this company but I can't. My husband and I met with Manny in the summer of 2019 to hire him and his crew for our wedding which was in Fall of 2019 we paid for the all inclusive package which was over $5,000. He promised us a USB with photos and the video of our wedding, along with a big portrait of our choice, 10 magnets of 1 picture we liked, a custom made box with our picture and our names on it and a photo album. I met with Manny a few days before my wedding to give him my song list and to go over the day of schedule. However, the day of my wedding he forgot my list! He had to come into my dressing room while getting ready to ask me what song I was waking down the aisle to, my father daughter dance song, the first dance song etc...I was already stressed as it was and this did not help. How could you forget the song list the day of someone's wedding? I was also upset with my wedding video. The man didn't even include my vows in the video! He only included my husband's vows. It's unfortunate because I had an unplugged wedding which means no one was allowed to have their phone out to record or take pictures because I thought it was all going to be given to me in the package. When we watched the video everyone said it looked like it was only my husband's day and not our wedding day because it had so much of him and his groomsmen in it. I also will add the video was only 10 minutes long, I don't understand how you can get a 6 hour wedding in only 10 minutes. There was also a huge pause in the middle of my 10 minute video. The photographer was the only one that did a great job! I've hired her separately for other occasions and have only recommended her to other people. I have no complaints with her. Her Instagram is @jaclynnicole. Her pictures are amazing! Overall Manny is not professional, it took a year to get my wedding album, USB, and portrait. I never received our magnets and our custom made box. I've already sent a message to Manny asking about it and he said he would look into it. He has not gotten back to me since. I left a review about a year ago and somehow it was removed. I mentioned in that review which was right after my wedding day that all went well but I was waiting for our package to be complete. For starters, Manny is difficult to reach. His excuse was "we're busy with upcoming events." Well, my wedding was an "upcoming event" and I felt like I deserved answers. He made me feel like I wasn't a priority until the week of our wedding. Second, I have reached out to him several times to obtain the last bit of our package deal, the wood USB. His response was "it's the same images we sent in the Dropbox link." That's fine, but I'd like what's promised and paid for in the package. I've been asking since March and now it's almost a year from our wedding date. On a good note, his contracted photographer & videographer were great. I wish my experience with him had of been better. Hiring 1 company to organize dj, Photo Booth, photography and videographer was amazing all organized and taken care of with no issues.. Had an unfortunate unprofessional experience with this DJ. We did not work with the videographers or photographers therefore, we cannot review this entire company for what it is. What I do know is that Manny the apparent face to the company should not be doing business whatsoever. On the day of our wedding, he was not working accordingly with our wedding planner or family which was all listed in the contract along with a good audio system. It rained, therefore, we needed to make adjustments and he was not flexible whatsoever! He claims he has had 15 years of experience but did not portray this at all on the day of our wedding which was a surprise because all communication and meetings prior to our wedding seemed to be good. He was communicative and polite until the day of our event, it was the total opposite. It was so bad that he didn't even give the mic during the ceremony for our officiant or for us during our vows so some of our guests couldn't even hear us. During our parent's toasts, the mic and sound system kept having audio distortion with the loud screeching noise. We let it go since it was our wedding day and were not planning to make a scene at our own wedding. It has been a month since our wedding day and we decided we would wait a few weeks to contact him since we didn't want our emotions to get the best of us. My husband spoke to him today and again he basically proved all the negative comments we received from our family to be true. He stated that he didn't want to work with us in the first place which is unprofessional and childish. My husband kept his tone calm the entire time and Manny was cursing and yelling over the phone. As business owners, we understand that any great business will abide by their own contract, will execute in a professional manner until done working with any client and if needed (given that it rained and we did need him to be flexible) go the extra mile to make sure your clients are happy. Ethically we did not feel that Manny kept his word or kept his business's integrity to his own business. This speaks volumes to his business, to who he is as a person and what drives him passionately. His best interest is NOT in satisfying the customer but making sure he has money to pay his bills as he also stated on the phone call with my husband. We will never be recommending his mediocre business to anyone we know. And our hopes are that people get to know him for who he really is. If he can't even do his job right he shouldn't even have a business in the first place. He claimed since the beginning he's worked with high people in high places but his work is nothing but "okay" on our scale. We hired him because he was priced at a decent price given that we needed an affordable DJ for our wedding but from now my advice to anyone having a special event is to pay more for someone who will actually bring value and high-quality work to their event. Yes, he left us with a bad experience but we learned from this big mistake. He is lucky we won't be suing him for $600 ( we have proof, videos, and even witnesses lol) but we know whatever you put out as a business owner will come back to you. Clearly, Manny's passion is driven from money rather than leaving customers with a great experience. So don't get fooled by this childish liar! read more
