Took a design class at the studio at Fresh Flower Bar. What an enjoyable evening. From the individual charcuterie boards, prosecco, beautiful flowers to work with and the detailed instruction, everything was top notch. I left feeling confident in how to choose a fresh bouquet of flowers and the right vessel to arrange them in. Sarahs tips on types of flowers to use, number of stems, color combinations, etc. were all so helpful. With family that lives in Fairfield County, I've tried out a number of flower shops over the years. Fresh Flower Bar is among the best I've used. The flowers are fresh and Sarah clearly has an eye for arranging. There was a little mix-up on the delivery date, which was frustrating since it was a birthday delivery, but Sarah was overly apologetic and went out of her way to make sure that I left a happy customer. Reaching her by phone proved a little bit of a challenge, but I understand that she is getting a dedicated phone line for the business, which should help. All in all, I left a satisfied customer and will definitely look to Fresh Flower Bar again when I would like to send an arrangement locally. read more

I was looking for graduation bouquets for my twin daughters who graduated from Fairfield University this past weekend. OMG - I cannot adequately express how gorgeous the bouquets were and how much thought Sarah put into making them! One of my daughters said she was obsessed with them and the accolades they received from fellow students and their parents were a testament indeed of how exquisite they were. A friend was sending me flowers and thank goodness they told me that morning so I could be on the look out for the bouquet since there was a strong cold-snap in Connecticut on that day. I was surprised Fresh Flower Bar didn't call ahead and let me know I would be receiving flowers and whether I would be home to receive them. When the flowers arrived they were outside for a few hours and they weren't wrapped in cellophane or anything. I do feel Fresh Flower Bar could have put a bit more effort in making the arrangements for delivery given the harsh weather conditions. When I called and spoke with the florist regarding their lack of communication and preparation for the weather, they were quite dismissive. read more

I found Flower Bar on Yelp over a year ago, after not having a good experience with another florist in Fairfield. I live in Florida, originally from CT, and have lots of family and friends still there. I have stopped using the 1800 Flower types...and I do prefer and love a local place I can count on. And Flower Bar fits the bill and more...her arrangements are so fresh, unique and beautiful!! Every recipient has been so pleased with the arrangements. Just had the strangest experience speaking with Cyrus. I called from another state to see about sending a gift of flowers to my friends. When I asked about pricing, I mentioned that the website was down so I asked for an arrangement of something spring-like and colorful. Cyrus suddenly launched into a nonstop verbal onslaught, clearly upset and angry. There was something in there about insulting him and that I should just trust him based on his reviews.
