Star Barber Shop is a no frills, mom & pop barber shop with skilled professionals working there…read more If you're a veteran, active military, or just need a simple, clean fade they will hook you up. It's $15 for my haircut which is just a simple medium reg with a zero. The woman and man are both good at what they do. If you have more complicated needs, I'm sure they can do what you need. There's another shop down the street that will cut your hair as well but they will literally take an hour (I'm not joking. It takes them soooo long to do a simple fade) to do what the barbers at Star can do in less than 15 minutes. As it should be. No military-style cut should take 45 minutes. That other place by the sandwich shop is ridiculous. I've been in search of a new barber shop since my old barber of 16 years retired. Star Barber Shop is my new place.

But I remember when a hair cut was $10. So paying $25 for a kids hair cut is ridiculous to me!!! And then you have to tip on top of that!! Ouch I'm not gonna dwell on pricing, I guess everyone has similar price points. It just hurts me to my core. Sad face. Service was good though. They are often packed, I just caught a good time to head in there with no wait time. I highly suggest making an appointment so your spot is secure though. Just a hair cut. No bells and whistles like some of my other experiences. So that price stings a little more. It was indeed a quality cut though.
