Barbers are super slow, took 45min for one haircut. Got there at open took a ticket. Mine was 23 and they were on 20. 1 hour later it barley hits 21. Left my ticket on the counter and left. Recommend making an appointment if going at all. read more

I recently visited this barber shop and it was a complete disaster. The hair stylist was clearly high as a f****** kite and left my hair looking uneven and choppy. i realized it when i got home. to make the situation worse i have prom today and now u have to go as if i got my hair cut by a allsups crackhead. When I get my hair cut the thing I care the most about is well the hair cut. As far as that goes this place did a great job! I asked for a medium fade with a comb over. I was seen by a women - she gave me her business card but unfortunately I've lost it and cannot remember her name. She did a great job, taking her time and pausing ever so often to make sure it was what I wanted. Most barbers I've seen are men and even though they do a good job it was refreshing to be seen by someone who wasn't assuming how high I wanted the fade, how the sideburns should be finished, where to part the comb over. The only thing I would suggest is to have more barbers on Sundays. I went here after church around 12:30 and left at 3:30. Most places are closed on Sundays in San Anglo as I would later find out. This is one of the few places opened on Sundays and boy was there a long line. I personally don't believe any haircut is worth waiting 3 hours but this is as close as it gets. Try this place out - just get here early if you're going on Sunday! read more

Very glad I was referred to this place after being told by the place I found initially that they didn't cut black people's hair. I can't recall the name of the place, but I do appreciate them referring me here. Great haircut and they get it done quickly. Costs $18. Right where you simply want to tell them to keep the change so I say it's actually $20. There's a card that they give you and after ten cuts, you get $5 off. Some guy named Chris cut my hair back on the right. The shop isn't very well decorated.. They spent money on the wrong things you know? Why are your walls all ragged looking. Why do you not have a cash register but only a phone and a FourSquare payment? Why do you have dirty leather couches? My haircut, I asked for super low skin fade. A pretty typical military cut. The guy just hears military and grinds half the hair off my head. What the hell you know? Definitely steer clear of this business. It won't be long before it goes out with the rest of that mall. read more

I needed to get my hair cut somewhere that wouldn't be a gamble. This did the trick! Adrian listened to what I asked for and was able to execute it smoothly. I also went with a buddy whose hair got butchered by the barber shop on Goodfellow. He was pretty much ordered to get it fixed, so we went to Fresh Cuts. Even with very little hair left to work with, Adrian was able to fix the fade and even everything out. We were both very happy customers. The only downside was the wait. If I could take off a half star for the hour wait, I would. But hey, I guess you have to wait for a quality cut. read more

This place is ran terribly. Been sitting for over an hour as a walk in and was told that appointments take priority. The only sign that talks about appointments is a dry erase board that states, "Weekend Appointment Available." Today is a Friday and we are being told that people have appointments. No where in this place does it state how appointments are made. Prices? Who knows. Guess...negotiate...because they aren't posted at all. Haircuts are on point from previous experience, but getting in the seat is the main task. Would recommend, but only using an appointment because walk-ins aren't a priority or given a warning that it'll take forever to get to you. read more

I took my son in recently and the chick who works there cut my sons hair.....OMG she did a horrible job she didn't even know how to do a fade at all....I had to take him to another place in the mall to get it fixed! The wait is unnecessarily long and on top of that, they don't even go off of the ticket number you "have to pull" in order to get a haircut. I definitely would not be returning to this place and I do not recommend this barbershop to anyone. read more

This is hands down the best barber shop in San Angelo!! The biggest problem I have found with barber shops in San Angelo is their hours are suggestions and are not really followed. Nothing like needing a haircut and heading to a barber shop that is "open" to just find out that is not the case. I have never had an issue with this place. Best hair cut I've ever had. I did get in when there were no appointments or waiters so I got super lucky. Anthony is super precise and double checked that the fade was even. I have been here several times. I have a difficult time giving this place a 1 star because I only want to highlight one thing but it is major. The front guy in the first chair in the glass window is shady. He is a terrible businessman. Constantly disrespectful to customers who take a paper number ticket, only to be passed up by one of Carl's homies who walks in off the street. I have seen this happen multiple times. Other times he will go and smoke while making customers waiting. There is always a large gathering in his cube and constantly has two young kids cleaning there. I wait patiently for Anthony who works on the last door on the right. He will set you up and treat you right. He will keep and honor appointments. He will take his time on your hair and put in full effort. He has a strong following of clients so I recommend making an appointment. Stay away from the first guy in the window. You will know it is him as he will have the child labor and about five others just hanging out in the room. Not a very comfortable environment for customers and not professional at all. Unfortunately this is about all there is for places here. Don't waste your time with him and call Anthony. read more
