I gave this 2 stars only because the 2 techs that helped us were nice. I went to this place with my cousins to get our nails done. I was so excited because after living in the US for over 30 yrs this would be the first time I would actually get my nails done in the Philippines. When asked how much it would be to get gel pedi and mani I was quoted 4,400 pesos. I was okay with it although it's about the same price in the US I was willing to support my fellow Filipinos. My two cousins regular pedis and manis cost 1000.00 pesos which made a total of 5,400 pesos for all of us. During the service the owner showed up and was just standing there observing without even acknowledging the customers. She gave off a negative vibe. As a previous business owner I have always made my customers feel comfortable and welcome but the owner of this shop did not make us feel welcome at all. When I went there I had healthy long nails and was even complimented by the techs and one customer that day. Since two of my nails were broken I asked the tech if she can put fake nails to even it out to the rest of my nails. The tech agreed but apologized because she said they don't have the right glue for the fake nails. So I suggested that she should let the owner know so she can provide the right materials for her business. The tech replied back by saying "Ma'am, I asked several times but it never happened. I was thinking to myself the employees shouldn't have to ask for that because that is the owners responsibility. For the price that she is charging I expected good quality service and materials. Two hours later my nails were done. I left and gave a total of 7000 pesos to the techs including the tip. As we stepped out few feet away from the door one of the fake nails that they just put on fell off. I stepped in and showed the tech but told her I would just come back the next day because she already had a client and I didn't want her to interrupt. She thanked me. I walking a few feet away and the second fake nail fell off. I was not happy but at the same time I didn't make a fuss about it because I know it wasn't the tech fault. Had they were provided the appropriate supplies this wouldn't have happened. I blamed this to the owner for not providing her employees with the correct glue. The next day I went back and the tech fixed it but she said it's still the same glue and fake nails. So to make things easier for everybody I asked her to just go ahead and cut the rest of my nails to the same length as the broken nails. The tech was happy and said that I was too nice and I made her job a lot easier. Two days later I had to cut all my nails to very short because whatever chemicals they used made my nails very dry a brittle. So I went to the Philippines with long beautiful nails and came home with short brittle nails. I advise everyone to please check before going to this place. . The price didn't really bother me because I am used of paying the same amount here in the US. But I expect good, professional result. The owner obviously only cares about the money she's getting from the clients. I am hoping that my feedback will make influence the owner to provide the correct materials to her employees so they can do a good job. I would never recommend this place to anyone but I have to say the techs were nice and very apologetic. read more
