This place is a great place for relaxation and to be free from negative vibes outside the "real" world, even for a few days. Both the staff and location's serenity is very contagious. You will find yourself a 5 minute walk from boat station 3 at the quieter end of white beach. The Garden Villa that we booked is very spacious with a private garden at the back. The bathroom and toilet are a treat on its own with a rainforest shower and a very spacious bath area. They also served complimentary healthy buffet breakfast during our stay. There are also many spa treatments available but at additional cost, although they may throw one in for free if you are celebrating a special occasion! This is definitely a place that I can recommend to family and friends.

Philippines Review #3…read more During my first visit to Boracay with my ex and all the family, the oldest brother (and our tour guide) suggested we all go to Mandala Spa to take a look at this stunning property. We piled into a few different tricycles (a small motorcycle with a 2 (or maybe 3) person covered sidecar attached (the only transportation on Boracay). Once we reached the location, we were greeted by this impressive entry. http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/mandala-spa-and-resort-villas-malay?select=xquwckI23ciwDT2oK3_ZUg We went to the main office, asked for a tour of the property and after about 10 minutes, one of the staff was showing us around. Wow, what a beautiful and serene property! http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/mandala-spa-and-resort-villas-malay?select=3j9B-KSmAgHPBZNbnglfMw http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/mandala-spa-and-resort-villas-malay?select=yAxkbYA26SfFwHTJWmqciQ During our tour we were shown the around the entire property, therapy pools, relaxation areas and massage rooms in addition to one of the beautiful luxury villas. Incredible! http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/mandala-spa-and-resort-villas-malay?select=v3K3coDIBpTsa-tTF93_8w http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/mandala-spa-and-resort-villas-malay?select=KhPtEzmlvvmNrOl7wb-jig After our tour my ex and I decided to take advantage of being here and decided to get massages. While my ex was willing to have a massage in a room where others were also getting massages, I wanted the full luxury treatment and have my massage in a private villa. Sure it cost a little more, but at the time I really wanted to be pampered! After changing into a sarong in the... (locker room sounds too "high school" for this spa), my masseuse escorted me about 300 feet away to a private villa where my massage was to take place. At first I was instructed to sit in the chair out on the small patio while soaking my feel in the bowl and enjoying some relaxing warm tea. After 10 minutes she dried my feet and I moved to the massage table. http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/mandala-spa-and-resort-villas-malay?select=ys2pKMz0_nU0sy-fPkMruA For this massage I chose the 2 HOUR(!!) hot & cold stone massage. She used medium/large size black river rocks, that at first were hot, then chilled, between her hands and my skin as she worked the tension from my muscles. Long story short, this massage was absolutely sublime! OVERALL: Mandala Spa & Resort Villas offers numerous options for relaxation, healing, detox, diet and health spa treatments, as well as some incredible villas if you want the full get-away-from-it-all spa treatments. I highly recommend Mandala Spa to pamper yourself when on Boracay!

I'm so thankful I stumbled upon this "hidden" gem. After having no success in getting a massage at…read moretwo other establishments, I was so happy that I came across Bella Isa. It was perfect timing, apparently, because I was taken right in for a two-hour massage. Got a nice little foot wash outside the front door to wash off the sand and dust, then was led back inside. The young female receptionist asked what virgin coconut oil-based massage oil I wanted (I chose ylang ylang), then was led to the treatment room. I was too excited to stop and take a picture of how serene and tastefully decorated this room was. Rhod (short for Rhodalyn) was my massage therapist. She was warm, friendly, and professional. Her hands were strong and skilled, finding my problem areas and working on them well. She did lull me to sleep a few times (and I snored myself awake!). When the session ended, I was loosened up, relaxed, yet rejuvenated. I was offered hot tea--I chose the ginger tea--it was so delicious. I managed to get in another session before leaving the island (note: this time, I came directly from the beach and they offered a shower, and a clean towel and wrap before I was led to the treatment room; enjoyed hot ginger tea again afterward).

5 stars for the 90min massage, but 3 stars for the manicure!…read more First things first...this place was highly rated on TripAdvisor, so naturally I was curious. There are tons of massage places in Boracay and all for super cheap (Around 300 PHP). Then there are the fancy smancy ones that you can get inside your luxury hotel that are a whopping 3000 PHP. This one is on the higher end for massage places..where a 90 Min massage was just shy of 2000 PHP. So why pay alnost 7x more? Well.. 1. I just wanted to experience both sides. 2. the first cheap massage place I went to was kind of shady, with questionable hygiene..and no breathing hole in the massage bed. It was like getting suffocated by face planting into a mattress where no one has ever changed the sheets and you wonder how many other ppl have face planted their oily, unwashed faces in the exact same spot. So yes...wanted to try to experience the higher end! This was probably one of the BEST massage experiences I have ever had. They're super friendly, it's CLEAN, they wash your feet and give you slippers before you enter, there's a face hole in the massage bed so you can breathe, and they have this AMAZING ginger tea you can get. It's hot..but so delicious! Manicures/pedicures are offered here..but there are only 3 seats so you might have to wait a while. My manicure lasted about 2 minutes after getting out of the seat because I decided to pull my jean shorts off before my nails were dry. I would say its not really their forte with limited color selection. I would also say, getting a mani/pedi in humid, hot weather means it takes foreverrrr to dry. Probably wouldn't recommend it in general, but sometimes you just need it! All in all, i loved my experience here! you get what you pay for..and I'll take $34 for a 90 min massage any day!
