The traffic getting in and out can be challenging, and we sat in said traffic for about a half mile given that the road is single lane in each direction and the stores get crowded. The four outlet shopping centers are located within walking distance of each other, so you can park once and shop all day. Yes, half of the stores are across the busy road so you can road is diving this outlet in two parts. It is located just off Exit 20 of the Adirondack Northway (I-87) and only two miles south of Lake George Village. Each center has public restrooms, an ATM machine, and vending machines filled with cold drinks. Tip: don't be confused, While this entire half-mile strip is referred to as "The Outlets", there are currently four distinct centers: Adirondack Outlet Mall, French Mountain Commons, Log Jam Outlet Center and The Outlets at Lake George East and West. Spend your day perusing the miles of aisles at this massive shopping complex on State Route 9 in Lake George.

This is the face of the mall situation in America, many store closures and vacant space. Only a couple anchor departement stores remain (Target, Sears, JC Penney, Dicks) and a movie theater. The Bon Ton has now closed as well. There are a few other businesses that can be interesting such as Bath and Body Works, Victoria's Secret and Planet Fitness gym however there isn't really much to spend money on. The mall is spread out and quite spacious however as you walk through the empty areas it just has a depressing vibe and doesn't entice you to stay inside. Unfortunately, because there aren't enough good stores to generate foot traffic, I suspect the smaller businesses will just keep on shutting down. There is only 1 restaurant and 1 fast food option a the tiny food court, so definitely don't plan to spend an afternoon here. I walked through the whole thing and was in and out in about half an hour. We later went across the street to Walmart and had a better time there. Aviation Mall is within proximity of a major tourist spot, it is unfortunate that it cannot be sustained.

After almost 3 hours of shopping I notice yup it's still in the car. Driver window is slightly cracked, but who brings an animal and leaves it ? Police were called and given car info. Security was called and was told "if it was a weather permitted issue" then they could do something. Are you kidding ?? How about if a child was in the car rather than a dog then SOMEONE would have smashed the window and parent arrested. I will always be a voice for animals and children since they can't communicate themselves !!

The scam of…read moremany 'outlet' stores that they have a full store of items at their full retail price (which nobody pays anyway) and maybe have one small rack of weird clothes like size XXXXS, orange shirts from last year's collection. To add insult to injury, they advertise huge discounts (60% to 90% off) but that is off the MSRP, which again, is not a realistic price. This LL Bean is different. They really do "outlet" the way it's meant to be done. Many of the products are labelled "Returns" and you can even see many items have monograms (which of course are not going to match your name...) However, there are decent prices here and a wide variety of LL Bean products (some even made in the USA). Do research online ahead of time and know what you want and what it costs new. Then go to the LL Bean outlet and see if you can get a deal. Lots of shoes, boots, slippers, bookbags (we got some for the kids because LL Bean bookbags are known for their strength), luggage, duffel bags, tents, shirts, coats, sweaters, and more. Pro Tip: I definitely agree with the other reviewer who pointed out that this set of outlet stores are very poorly set up, and it's difficult/impossible to cross the road to get to the different buildings. Nothing against LL Bean, but it would be nice if they interconnected all the buildings.

As far as actual Corning products, you probably can't get a better deal than at an outlet store. As for the other products, I'd suggest doing some shopping homework and compare their prices with places such as Kohl's or Bed, Bath, & Beyond where you can take advantages of sales and discounts.

They are located in the Adirondack Outlet Mall near the restrooms and L.L. Bean. We were in search of a common, yet still difficult item to find, Y-shaped vegetable peeler. They had a several variety for us to choose from. We also found a cherry/olive pitter. They sell Rachel's spices and teas, House of Jerky products, Lodge cast iron pans, OXO products, OTOTO kitchen essentials, and many other items that make great gifts. Staff were welcoming, friendly, and helpful. Definitely worth checking out for the thing you forgot you needed.

The store is very well-organized, and there was plenty of room to roam the floor and look at the displays while searching for preferred colors and sizes of dress shirts and sweaters. Unfortunately I wasn't successful in finding anything that caught my eye, but the sales staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. They explained that the Brooks Brothers Outlet shops carry slightly different merchandise than what you'd typically find in a BB retail store, and that not all of the typical sizes are available. Nonetheless, this is a nice place to shop, and perhaps you'll have better luck finding something that fits you?
