Fremont Vision Source has been a leading provider of optometry services and vision care products in the Fremont community since 1948, and we want to help you achieve and maintain clear vision for years to come. We use advanced diagnostic technology and vision correction products and are committed to improving the quality of life of persons in the Fremont community through enhanced vision.

Meet the Business Owner: Dr. Amy D.

Dr. DeVries is originally from Canon City, Colorado. She graduated from Texas Tech University cum laude in honors studies with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. Dr. DeVries earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Southern California College of Optometry. While attending optometry school, she served as a class officer and was chairperson for the Department of Community Health. Dr. DeVries has received honors in primary care, pediatrics, and low vision. She completed her optometric internships at the Optometric Center of Los Angeles, the Center for the Partially Sighted in Santa Monica, and the Kaiser Permanente of Baldwin Park. Her training provided her the opportunity to evaluate and manage many complex cases and gain experience in several optometric specialties including pediatrics, contact lenses, and ocular disease diagnosis and management. She is a Fremont Chamber of Commerce member and also active in both the American and Nebraska Optometric Associations.
