It's not like Six Flags Magic Mountain more like Six Flags Frontier City (OKC, OK). It's not a huge…read morepark. It's definitely a all in one day type place with time to spare. They have a couple of big rides but nothing that flips you upside down. I was able to take my 8 year old on everything. Safety is something of a major difference between Germany and the States. yes, our safety is controlled by some 16 year old working for minimum wage but at least there is someone checking ANYTHING! Here there was the one guy behind glass pressing the GO button. No one checks to see if your kid is tall enough. No one checks to make sure you are strapped in correctly. A couple of the rides are automated so the chair doesn't even stop! You kinda have to jump in and strap in FAST. Also there really wasn't any real souvenirs. The gift shops were filled with junky dollar store trinkets. Nothing was worth buying. You do get a free child's glass or adult wine glass with your entry ticket, which was nice. As for food, there is one inside restaurant. It was expensive and the food wasn't all that great. It was cold the day we went so we gladly paid for the heated dining experience. Like any other theme park, the kiosks and carts are expensive too. However, you can bring in your own food and drinks. I didn't know this at first so I sneaked in a drink and some small snack items. If I had known, I would have brought a picnic basket full like everyone else did! We went with friends who bought season tickets. I don't think it's a place worth season tickets. One time was enough for us. There are other places worth the money.

If you want your children to have fun they will enjoy lots of themed rides like "Badewanne" or "G'sengte Sau" and for toddlers the small, safe and enjoyable rides are everywhere.

This is an awesome little park in the summer. This park is especially good to bring children. I…read morewent as an adult without kids and still had fun. There are a few roller coasters. In the winter months, they winterize some of the attractions and make a little winter wonderland.

We decided to take our girls to Holiday park over the long weekend. I had gotten on their website…read morewith a discount code but there was a pop up to bid for your ticket prices. The first 3 times I had bid too low and they didn't accept my offer. I finally tried 38.50€ and it was accepted. My 5 year olds ticket was 30€ and my 2 year old's cost 15.50€. (They don't charge by age but rather by height.) The parking fee was 8€ The drive was only an hour away for us and luckily there was no traffic. We arrived 10 mins prior to them opening and the parking lot was already fully packed. Checking in was easy. They just scanned the bar code from our phones and we walked in. I didn't know where to start first but I saw a bunch of other families with small children going off to the right and we followed. Arriving when they first opened was great for us. No long lines to wait in for the kiddie rides - under 5 mins. The longest time we waited in long was 25 mins for the log splash ride. There was a ride I don't recommend taking small children. It was across from the Dino splash next to a BBQ conssesion stand. I translated the ride as an underground train ride but it's bizarre, scary, and wildly inappropriate for young minds. So skip that ride. We did spend some time at the acarde and played some of the carnival game. I suggest not wasting your money on the claw machine trying to grab the stuffed animals. They are rigged and I'm embarrassed how much we ended up spending on retrying to win a stuffed animal. Save yourself the hassle and just jump on Amazon to buy which ever stuffed animal you want. I had gotten dizzy after riding a spinning cup ride with my girls. My equilibrium was way off and decided I must eat something. We walked into the first restaurant we saw and it was an Italian place called Casa Palatina. I ordered the pizza and carbonara pasta. The pizza was decent and the pasta was bland. We also tried the BBQ concession stand and got the soft served icecream. It was all just overpriced amusement park food. Nothing spectacular or mind blowing. Overall we were happy with our visit and would bring the kids again. If you have small kids I highly suggest this amusement park, for teens I would say go to Europa Park.
