The first 3 times I had bid too low and they didn't accept my offer. I finally tried 38.50€ and it was accepted. My 5 year olds ticket was 30€ and my 2 year old's cost 15.50€. (They don't charge by age but rather by height.) The parking fee was 8€ The drive was only an hour away for us and luckily there was no traffic. We arrived 10 mins prior to them opening and the parking lot was already fully packed. Checking in was easy. They just scanned the bar code from our phones and we walked in. I didn't know where to start first but I saw a bunch of other families with small children going off to the right and we followed. Arriving when they first opened was great for us. No long lines to wait in for the kiddie rides - under 5 mins. The longest time we waited in long was 25 mins for the log splash ride. There was a ride I don't recommend taking small children. It was across from the Dino splash next to a BBQ conssesion stand. I translated the ride as an underground train ride but it's bizarre, scary, and wildly inappropriate for young minds. So skip that ride. We did spend some time at the acarde and played some of the carnival game. I suggest not wasting your money on the claw machine trying to grab the stuffed animals. They are rigged and I'm embarrassed how much we ended up spending on retrying to win a stuffed animal. Save yourself the hassle and just jump on Amazon to buy which ever stuffed animal you want. I had gotten dizzy after riding a spinning cup ride with my girls. My equilibrium was way off and decided I must eat something. We walked into the first restaurant we saw and it was an Italian place called Casa Palatina. I ordered the pizza and carbonara pasta. The pizza was decent and the pasta was bland. We also tried the BBQ concession stand and got the soft served icecream. It was all just overpriced amusement park food. Nothing spectacular or mind blowing. Overall we were happy with our visit and would bring the kids again. If you have small kids I highly suggest this amusement park, for teens I would say go to Europa Park.

We stumbled on this park after I picked up a flyer from somewhere in Boblingen; don't remember the…read morestore, but it's of little consequence to this review. The park is about 1 hour north of Stuttgart and is definitely tucked away in the hills. You drive through several sleepy towns complete with hills and farmland, then you pop over a hill and you'll see the park on the right. The park is small compared to Legoland or Europa Park, but a little larger than Traumland. You can pay for your tickets with Euros or Visa/Mastercard (which is a nice surprise). If you are short on cash, you can use your Visa card and withdraw money from the ticket office (another nice surprise). My overall impression of the park is that it's a little run down. This park was probably the happenin' park in the Stuttgart area 20 years ago, but it's a little neglected, and I suspect Tripsdrill and the other parks are pulling some of the business away. We were definitely the only American family there (that I saw), which leads me to believe this park isn't well known amongst the American families. There are several rides that the young ones couldn't do, and they are a little strict on the heigh requirements, which I found a little odd for Germany. For example, I could convince the ride guy that my 5 year old was tall enough for the roller coaster, which had a 120cm height minimum (my son is 118 cm), however, the man tending the log ride wouldn't let us on (it was a pretty tame log ride). However, my 3-year old could ride the yellow raft ride, which was by far one of the fastest rides in the park (definitely the crown jewel of the park). There are chimps and a tiger in the center of the park, which is a little jarring, especially if you aren't expecting to see wild animals in an amusement park. The park restaurant was below average in my opinion, as there weren't a ton of options, and they didn't even have bread to go with the spaghetti. Much smaller Traumland had more options and better quality food. Overall, decent park, but I'm not sure if we will be itching to go back here soon. Definitely glad we went, but we'll probably visit Trispdrill, Legoland, or Europa Park again before we come back here.

There are a couple different play areas, jungle, space, treehouse, castle, and pirate ship. Bring extra socks because the pirate area has fountains and splash tanks. Your kids will get wet and so will you. Nothing is worse than wet socks. We had two preteens and one toddler. The bigger kids mainly stayed in the jungle, treehouse, and space areas. The castle was mainly for exploring rooms. There is a huge statue of a horse upstairs. It's manhood is eye level to most and ummm...human. It was weird and awkward. Our toddler played in the ball pit area of the jungle. He had such a ball! (knee slaps. I heart puns!) We took him into the space area and went down some slides. There were half of them I was too chicken to go down alone. Kids were shooting out like rockets. I guess that's the point and all. You get a card at the beginning and that's what you use to pay for everything. You clear your card upon exiting. There is the normal food items with typical pricing. Water, soda, and coffees. I think we spent around 20 euro for drinks and a plate of fries. We went in the afternoon when it was the cheapest. 17 euro vs 8.50 after 4:30. Yeah, I'll take that. I can see why kids want to come here. I can see why parents would want to bring older kids. It's too rich for my blood to come here during the day or multiple times. Once was enough for me.
