Ticket costs 6 euros. Some films are english, some are not - check the website for a programme. But there is something people should be aware of: Since the screen is in the middle of Hasenheide, there is a whole bunch of drug dealers hanging in the park along the way to the cinema, trying to sell and pushing you stuff. If you are not accustomed to that type of scene, you might feel just a little bit unsafe as the sun is setting in that gloomy park but don't worry - just ignore the gangbangers and pushers and you'll be fine. Or if you are into drugs, buy some and get high watching movies. Whatever suits you!

Even some of the restaurants were closed. I stumbled upon this indie theater that laid within a courtyard. You enter first an alley which walls are covered in street art. Murals and tons of wheat paste posters decorate the walls. Tables of a coffee shop and people roaming the little shops and a hidden bar is what welcomes you. Kino Central is not playing the run of the mill films, no you will indie films are played here. Though I had seen Searching for Sugarman we thought it to be cool to see it with German subtitles. Best part is that you can grab a beer or wine and take it in with you. The theater is small nothing huge nor fancy.
