From start to finish it was such a fun adventure! You're able to grab a bucket and literally walk the endless rows of beautiful tulips and pick as many as you'd like to your hearts desire. I had no idea there were so many different types of tulips. My bf and I really enjoyed learning this and also learning how to properly "pick" a tulip in order to transport them home without there being any wilting or withering. The weather actually made the experience that much more memorable in my opinion and provided quite a beautiful back drop given the contrasting colors to the grey and white sky. There were a nice selection of food trucks there as well so we grabbed empanadas and lemonade before round two of picking flowers and admiring mother natures beauty. Once we got the tulips home we followed instructions on how to properly clip and keep them watered and within minutes the tulips began to blossom :) The two vases we filled brightened our space and made us begin to plan our next visit ... with a plan on how we'd be more strategic in picking groups of colors and different heights lol. Came here for the first time on a Saturday night for their in the dark flashlight corn maze... I…read morewas able to get tickets on Living Social/Groupon so it only cost a total of $13.60 for two people as opposed to the regular $12.00 each person. That also included a donut and apple cider after the maze. It was very well organized and they had people directing traffic to park. They had a trailer to buy tickets or present your Groupon, 2 separate lines so it went very quickly. We were given bracelets and were directed to the maze. Before going I read it normally takes about an hour and a half to complete the maze. It was a cool night and many people were arriving to enjoy the maze. We walked around and around for quite a while which is the whole idea. There were some muddy patches since it rained a little in the morning so after I slid in the mud one time I was more careful about where I was stepping. I felt like we were walking in circles and there are no clues or hints to direct you and unfortunately some people pulled down the tapes that mark off the paths so that made it more confusing. After about an hour and a half I was ready to get out of there. Unfortunately we never found the exit but instead made our way back to the entrance. We collected our donuts and cider and called it a night... Not a bad evening and a nice change from the dinner and a movie routine. I just think I'm better suited for the day time maze next time. Staff was very nice and friendly definitely recommend.

Either way the walk from the lot to the farm is short. Tickets are purchased at the ticket booth not in advanced. $12 per child is a great deal! Adults are free. If you're going to have the little ones participate in the egg hunt, even if under 2, a ticket much better purchased for them. I recommend doing it for cute photo ops and for a fun developmental experience. Additional fees for add ons such a gem mining. The fun zone was so much fun! Everything listed on their website is exactly what they have. People were considerate all around keeping distance and taking turns. A helpful tip would be to add the weight capacity to activities such as the zip line. The decor all around was so cute for Easter. Having a character cow and Easter bunny was a huge highlight for all the kids as they arrived. Great way to enter the farm! The characters interacted with all socially from the min we arrived till we left. My kid got to do a bunny hop dance with the bunny. There's an Italian food truck located right on the premise. Here you'll find food such as an Italian sausage and peppers, zeppoles and basics like chicken tenders, fries, burgers, hot dogs etc. Food was all good. There are tables on site but due to covid seatings limited. Don't forget the hayride that's include for all. There is a farmers market as located right at the entrance. This place is a REAL farm, operating since 1860, and is simply magical. You will find only the most wonderfully friendly staff, the most sincere pumpkin patch that Linus would be proud of, and a memorable day outside in the beauty of nature and what makes farm life, farm life. For $5 per person, you are covered for a hay ride to and from the pumpkin patch. A REAL pumpkin patch; not just pumpkin purchased and thrown in a field with straw. Like, maybe bring a small knife to cut these babies free to take home with you! The ride around was super cute with how they decorated the property (I won't completely spoil it for you!) and allowed you to take in the little changes in fall foliage peeking out. For $8 per person, you get access to pick your own flowers for $1 per sunflower and $0.50 per other flower variations, as well as a corn pit, tractor tire tower, obstacle course, basketball hoops, slides, and more. Our 4 year old absolutely had a BALL in the corn kernel pit and the slides really tested his bravery. You could tell the vibe was less about posing for the most perfect photo and more about just being together with family and friends. The two food trucks on location had responsibly prices pork rolls, hot dogs, apple cider donuts and drinks, whereas if you wanted to splurge and be a foodie, they had a BBQ food truck as well. Again, wonderfully friendly staff and the hot dogs have been approved by my toddler. Cash is much appreciated here, even though they do accept credit cards. They tell you in advance what they have, you order, and then they don't have what you ordered. So…read moreinstead of summer squash you get a potato. Instead of cabbage you get garlic. Not cool. The whole order in advance thing is a failure. A farm should harvest what they have and then sell it to the CSA members or the public. The whole idea of ordering in advance and picking up doesn't work. They never have what you order, and often times there are other products available that were not listed on the website. Those are for "loyal members" who have been around longer. What? Is this a farm or a social club. Leafy products: yes I understand it's an organic farm and bugs will come through here or there. But we routinely expect to find leafy products INFESTED with bugs and dirt. A certain amount of dirt is healthy in vegetables and chlorinated water is bad for vegetables, but this is bad. The least they could do is rinse the stuff off a bit as other farms do. Other farms have water tanks where they soak the vegetables off a bit. No such luxuries here. The CSA membership gives you no real discount on produce. You buy in at face value, versus Cherry Grove Organic where $400 buys you $500. I wanted to try Honey Brook but We will head quickly back to Cherry Grove next year.

During this 2021 season, most of the array of vegetables were only offered to people who chose the largest plans. We would go to pick up the produce each week and see that our share size was excluded from ordering the majority of the produce. This huge change from prior years ,was not told to us before they asked for our $$ in advance.In past years, there were many many pick -your -own options that were included in the price of a share. Again, we were not told in advance of the full season payment, that there would be hardly any vegetables for picking. That is a huge change from prior years and yet it was not disclosed before the fact. The big changes this year, can not be blamed on them outsourcing/trying software to track inventory etc.. Nondisclosure of changes ahead of time so consumers would know what they were/ were not buying, in our opinion, is the reason for our poor rating.
