Our first night in Frankfurt, my hubby and suggested we give this place a go. I was hesitating at…read morefirst because, well, who has Italian food in Germany?! At least, good Italian food?! Well - this place is clearly family run, and GOOD GOD is this food fantastic! DO NOT HESITATE! We were thankful that the staff understood English, but they also speak German and Italian, which was really wild to hear while you're away. They have a pretty extensive menu, so I went with my eyes instead of what my stomach could actually handle, and opted for the whole experience - wine, appetizer, and the main course. To start, we each got some lovely white wine and got two heavy pastas that were from creamy, rich heaven. I got the tortellini stuffed with meat in a lovely light cream sauce with ham while hubby got gnocchi with four cheese alfredo sauce. Mine was BELLA and my hubby's was nothing to stick your nose up to. They were homemade; they were FRESH; and they were meant to be eaten slowly. Admire that fork full of delicious pasta and cry inside quietly; this is some of the BEST pasta I've ever had outside of the USA. We even went back the following night and opted for some personal pizza and I got the seafood pasta. I had originally ordered the seafood risotto, but the waiter actually came from the kitchen and said that the risotto was not good enough to serve and would make my dish into a pasta dish. That was completely nice to even tell me that, and to make something even better than I expected! The pictures speak for themselves; this place is a GEM!

The music was great and everyone was dancing and appeared to be having an absolute blast! There is a biergarten out back that was a nice break from the insanity going on inside. Drinks were reasonably priced and everyone was super nice. Definitely a great place to go dancing with the girlfriends.

When we walked up on the place, I was unsure if we were in the correct location. Once using the speaker box, someone answered the door and escorted us the lounge. We walked through the foyer and were pleasantly surprised as we entered the lounge. IT WAS BEAUTIFUL, like something staged out of a movie. The velvet seating, mirrors, the bar, it was simply beautiful. The pictures really don't do it justice...YOU MUST GO! Now...my opinion of the cocktails!! Exquisite! We were hosted at the bar by a lovely gentlemen with a sparkling personality, while the manager frequently checked in on us as it wasn't too busy. The cocktails were delicious! I usually stick to wine or my signature drink made with tequila but I experimented as this guy was in FACT talented and skilled. I am sure you will love the atmosphere, the service, and the cocktails! ENJOY and CHEERS! I'd love to go back next time Im in the area. Don't think it's easy to get in on a crowded weekend night though: you may need to squeeze in at the bar table and share with other hungry strangers. But it's worth it. Just pick schnitzel or sausage (or both), because it's all good and will make it easy to go night-night with that full belly soon thereafter. The mushroom gravy is easy to eat by itself, but of course compliments the schnitzel nicely. For a "light snack" pick one sausage; for complete stuffing pick two. It may be hard to finish that much, but it'll be fun trying. Grab a Hefeweizen or Pilsner to go with that Apfelwein, because you're in Frankfurt so why not? And it's Germany, so let's make sure to eat and get out quickly, since some other couple is waiting to get lucky right behind you.
