Unfortunately, we canceled the policy prior to speaking to her supervisor who provided helpful information, but it was too late to be of any use. Too bad she didn't mention it, could have saved a customer. We understand that emails were sent (to spam/junk so didn't see those) and 3 calls were made over 4 months with no mention of urgency re: policy increase or ways to avoid. We will take ownership of missing those 3 calls, would have been lovely if she had followed thru with a more urgent message. However it was crystal clear she had no desire to try to save our business by her condescending attitude and unwillingness to try to help. Her supervisor gave us an option but the policy had been cancelled by that time so we were stuck. If you get assigned to this office by Progressive highly recommended requesting assignment to another agency or a completely different insurance like State Farm.

I have been a State Farm customer for the past 5 years after moving back south from Washington DC…read more At my previous address I had homeowners, auto, and an umbrella policy. I reached out to Will Rentschler's agency upon my recent move to Florida to transfer my auto insurance and secure homeowners insurance for a home I was purchasing in Pensacola. I was quoted rates and given a binder for the home closing. All of this was done several weeks before the close date. I was notified 24 hours before the closing that underwriting would not write the policy...this is AFTER all of the specifics regarding the property had been laid out for the agent with plenty of lead time. The closing came close to not happening due to the negligence of the agent...after securing insurance with another company, I spoke with a national agent for State Farm who informed me that State Farm no longer wrote homeowners in our area, she even suggested I report them to the State Insurance Commission. Since this incident at the end of last year, I have received 4 bills from this agency for homeowners insurance which they said they could not write. I called to speak with Will Rentschler, left messages, and have never received a call back. Just received another bill yesterday... Extremely unprofessional and either willingly misleading or unknowledgeable.
