Im 100% disabled veteran. My disability doesn't allow me to really leave my home. I called Freeway insurance they told me I had to go to a local office u did against my better judgment.Went to the office splendora tx to cancel then sent me to another office which I can travel that far due to my disability. Through Freeway insurance signed me up with infinity Kemper insurance tried canceling through them that was covering my auto policy,said I had to go through Freeway insurance to cancel. Now I'm getting a $188 from Kemer infinity insurance. NETHER would help me. Now Kemper infinity insurance sent to collections to ruin. My credit. My next step is to State of Texas attorney General. This insurance company is a bunch of scammers. I have 3 people for insurance. We tried to add my grandson, then tried to write us 3 separate policies for the same vehicle saying we would have to pay $200-$300 each! Then they conveniently couldn't find our policy even though I gave them all the information. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Horrible experience with freeway. They cancelled me after 3 weeks saying documents needed to be signed. Well no documents were emailed so how was I supposed to know they needed to be signed. 3 days I been trying to fix this situation and apparently no one there can help. Instead they want me to sign up for a new policy and pay a big down payment. There is no way I am doing that. They dropped the ball!! Don't waste your money and time. read more

We called Freeway and was told couldn't cancel over the phone. Remember, we bought it over the phone. Finally got the policy canceled (or so we thought). I called a couple of offices in my surroundings in Houston to get a quote, the phones are forwarded to California. One guy asked personal questions in which I did not mind sharing to get me a quote then I was transferred to another person that asked some of the same questions where she was going to get me a price for auto insurance. She said okay it's going to be 60 dollars. I said for 6 months or what is this price., I would like to pay in full. She then put me on hold came back to say it's 462 to pay in full 60 x 6 months is 360. I thought it was less if you pay in full. I was not interested in the cost and plus I was unaware I was dealing with a broker so I said good bye. Be very leery folks. You get what you pay for. read more

I bought a policy with this company underwritten by Bluefire Insurance. It has been the worst experience for myself and my sons. We just filed a claim with this insurance company. They give out fraudulent phone numbers to claim adjusters. They hide behind protocol to escalate to a supervisor to address and follow up with the status of a claim. Adjusters do not call back with customers nor they are very aware of the policy declarations. Instead of asking the insurance adjusters to come out to assess the vehicle, they ask their customers to take pictures and send them pictures. I will be filing a formal complaint with the Texas Department of Insurance and give notification to my fellow state legislators about the business practices of this company. When my son called about the lack of response and customer service, instead of seeking to resolve the issue, he was informed by their agent to cancel the policy with them. This is the type of business practices that both of these companies are doing in Texas, and awareness needs to be raised at the administrative and legislative levels. read more

Don't ever trust this carrier. Freeway is just a carrier that finds a cheap insurance that no one knows and you pay like if you are using a well known insurance like Allstate. Really bad service, and you dont save money at all, they make you pay a lot more than what is expected. I will rate them a zero. read more

I'm so pissed off! the same day i opened a policy with them (i spoke to a lady) think her name was Glori ) . I let it be known i was trying to find the cheapest a month and something that wont get overw late on. I did couple mins later ended up canceling it with her because I gotten a better quote and I had gotten a call back with an insurance I tried to call before. I was told that I'll get a refund in 5-10 business days and some cancellation documents sent sent to my email to fill out and send back . I did ! I was also informed that the refund wouldn't go back on my card , it would be a check and atleast a minimum of $50 will not b refunded (which I paid almost $300 for the down payment ) . now it's been 10days and I have not gotten anything. only a confirmation paper that it was cancelled. I called freeway and spoke to a guy this time and he said he didn't see anything in records of a refund at all . but I was told it was 10days ago. he said that he'll send a email to higher up and will have to wait for a reply and then will call me today before he put me on hold . when he got back on the phone he then said and changed it to if he didn't call me today he will tomorrow. I'm just tired of the mess . always quick to take money off card but it's bunch of bull when it's time to put it back . read more

Horrible! I made a policy with freeway insurance, the lady gave me as many discounts as possible gave me a quote for $1400 for my 2014 Kia. I signed papers and paid in FULL a couple weeks later I get a letter in the mail for a new quote for $1900 because they ran my DL (who doesn't run your DL in the first place) and saw I had some tickets. they completely disregarded my last payment of $1400 and said if I don't pay that amount of $1900 I will get cancelled. I called and after getting hung up on and transferred 5 times having to re explain my situation they told me my original first payment was a "down payment" (down payment for insurance of $1400? Lady never said anything about a down payment) I just called to cancel and I feel that I won't even get reimbursed my money!! This is ridiculous and just a SCAM!!!! read more

These guys helped me get the insurance policy I'm with now which is fine, good customer service from the standpoint of getting them business, BUT somehow the agent makes the wonderful mistake of charging my account twice turning a 490 dollar transaction into a 900 dollar transaction. Thank you very much Jennifer Richard. Since then I've been in a battle with they're marketing and accounting team who refuses to approve the refund that THEIR employee caused and requested, having to do things including sending them my bank account information and bank statements proving the transactions happened. The best part was that when I contacted my agent (Jennifer) she had told me that the refund had already been approved. LIES! Will not be doing business with them in the future, screwed me out of over 400 dollars and can't even compensate for their own mistake. read more
