The driver arrived in a 5-seater Impala, and claimed the van was not available. They made no effort to notify me of this change, and claimed ignorance of my passenger specification. We had to squeeze additional people in without seat belts for a 3 hour (round trip) journey, causing discomfort but more importantly risking health (and perhaps breaking a law - not sure what the local rules are) They did not offer any sort of reimbursement for their mistake. I would not recommend AB Taxi if you find an alternative. On the positive side, the driver was courteous, professional, and on time.

As others have noted, the ride was all one could wish in a taxi service (actually, more on par with private car service where I live, in New York City . . .): safe and punctual, in a clean, new car. The really extraordinary feature of this service is Michael himself. I thoroughly enjoyed talking with him. In the course of a half-hour ride (which included waiting while I ran into a store to pick up a crucial item I'd forgotten), I learned about Michael's -- and his wife's -- deep involvement with the local community; and he asked -- with genuine interest -- about my child's experience at Bowdoin. Thank you, Michael -- and I look forward to seeing you next time I'm in Brunswick!
